    Abstract: An additive manufacturing (AM) system, an AM method, and an AM feature extraction method are provided. The AM system includes an AM tool, a product metrology system, an in-situ metrology system, a virtual metrology (VM) system, a compensator, a track planner, a controller, a simulator and an augmented reality (AR) device. The simulator is used to find feasible parameter ranges, while the AR device is used to support operations and maintenance of the AM tool. The product metrology system, the in-situ metrology system and the VM system are integrated to estimate the variation of material on a powder bed of the AM tool. The compensator is used for compensating the process variation by adjusting process parameters. The product metrology system is used to measure the quality of products. The in-situ metrology system is used to collect features of melt pools on the powder bed.

    Abstract: A low-cost and high-compatibility optical pickup including a light source, one set of optical sensors, and a controller. The light source illuminates a string assembled on an instrument. The set of optical sensors corresponding to the light source is provided to sense the shading of the string. The controller supplies the sensed data from the set of optical sensors to a system host for recognition of the melody played on the string. Considering the other strings assembled on the instrument, the optical pickup includes other sets of optical sensors to sense the shading of the other strings which are also illuminated by the light source. The controller also supplies the sensed data of the other sets of optical sensors to the system host for recognition of the melody played on the other strings.

    Abstract: Disclosed herein is a surface treatment method of a ceramic powder using microwave plasma in order to enhance flowability. The surface treatment method can be applied to a ceramic powder having a small particle size of 45 ?m or less and can significantly enhance flowability while reducing an influence on a particle size compared to a conventional method. Consequently, the ceramic particles surface-treated by the above-described surface treatment method can be formed to have a smooth and dense coating film without pores during spray coating.

According to the present invention, the inspection apparatus detects the condition of an object under inspection in a non-contact manner by using an excitation source. An acquired displacement difference is then transmitted to an electronic apparatus through wireless transmission.

A server generates VR content based on target trajectories of a trainee in a tactic. The VR device further provides a motion sensor device that detects and returns the head pose, actions, and positions of the trainee to the server. The server updates the VR content according to the head pose, actions, and positions of the trainee.
