  • Patent number: 6661565
Abstract: A packaging method of the optical transceiver module for transmitting optical signals is disclosed. The invention includes a base, a case, a transmission unit and a receiving unit. The transmission unit and the receiving unit contain a circuit board, respectively. The base provides two fixing positions for the installation of the two circuit boards. The two circuit boards are installed horizontally and vertically, respectively. This design increases the utilization of the inner space, providing ideal shielding for the elements and circuit boards. A central beam is used to fix the structure and case in a drawable way like a matchbox. This reduces covered area of the circuit board, making the elements easy to be tested and assembled.

  • Patent number: 6578627
Abstract: A new fin pattern of a ribbed vortex generator for use in an air conditioner or heat exchanger. It has multiple protruding turbulent prisms placed around a round tube on a radiation fin. Each protruding turbulent prism is strip rib-shaped 3D structure with one end higher and the other end lower. Each of the multiple protruding turbulent prisms is placed around the round tube at proper intervals, and oriented to the direction that fluid flows. The higher ends of a first pair of prisms are placed on the front end entrance of the round tube and the higher ends of a second pair of prisms are placed on the exit, which improves the heat transfer but causes little pressure drop-off.

  • Patent number: 6512334
Abstract: An organic electroluminescence (OEL) matrix-type single-pixel driver, which comprises: an OEL device, a first transistor, and a second transistor. The first transistor and the second transistor form a complementary structure so that when the data line uses the first transistor to drive an organic light-emitting diode (OLED) device, the second transistor is in the OFF state, causing no power consumption. When the data line is in the LOW state, the first transistor is in the OFF state. The second transistor is in a sub-threshold state after getting rid of extra charges.

  • Patent number: 6349761
Abstract: A fin-tube heat exchanger with a vortex generator is disclosed. The heat exchanger includes at least one heat transfer tube extending therethrough. A vortex generator is formed on the fin and includes a plurality of protuberance ribs projected from the fin and centralized with the heat transfer tube. An air flow inlet is defined between adjacent two of the protuberance ribs and an air flow outlet is defined between other adjacent two of the protuberance ribs. The air flow is guided from the air flow inlet, through channels defined between the vortex generator and the at least one heat transfer tube, and passes out of the air flow outlet, thereby speeding the air flow and promoting the heat transfer efficiency of a stagnation area behind the tube, and generating vortexes at the protuberance ribs and the air flow outlet for draining outer air into the surface for better air mixing and promoting the heat transfer efficiency of the fin.
