  • Patent number: 8765500
Abstract: The present disclosure involves a method of packaging a light-emitting diode (LED). According to the method, a group of metal pads and a group of LEDs are provided. The group of LEDs is attached to the group of metal pads, for example through a bonding process. After the LEDs are attached to the metal pads, each LED is spaced apart from adjacent LEDs. Also according to the method, a phosphor film is coated around the group of LEDs collectively. The phosphor film is coated on top and side surfaces of each LED and between adjacent LEDs. A dicing process is then performed to slice through portions of the phosphor film located between adjacent LEDs. The dicing process divides the group of LEDs into a plurality of individual phosphor-coated LEDs.

  • Publication number: 20140103372
Abstract: The present disclosure involves a method of packaging light-emitting diodes (LEDs). According to the method, a plurality of LEDs is provided over an adhesive tape. The adhesive tape is disposed on a substrate. In some embodiments, the substrate may be a glass substrate, a silicon substrate, a ceramic substrate, and a gallium nitride substrate. A phosphor layer is coated over the plurality of LEDs. The phosphor layer is then cured. The tape and the substrate are removed after the curing of the phosphor layer. A replacement tape is then attached to the plurality of LEDs. A dicing process is then performed to the plurality of LEDs after the substrate has been removed. • Publication number: 20140050895
Abstract: A glue-free vinyl tile has a scratch proof layer, an abrasion proof layer, a printing layer, an upper PVC layer, a fiber layer, a lower PVC layer, and an anti-slip layer. The anti-slip layer has multiple mounting segments formed on the anti-slip layer, and the mounting segments make a bottom of the tile uneven. When the glue-free vinyl the is installed, the tile is put on the ground. With the uneven bottom caused by the mounting segments, the abrasion force enhances, and makes the tile horizontally connected tightly to the ground. Because the tile is not vertically connected tightly to the ground, when the tile is removed, the tile is taken up easily without being damaged, and the ground is not damaged, too. Therefore, the glue-free vinyl tile is easy to be installed and removed, can be reused repeatedly and is more friendly to the environment.

  • Publication number: 20130279972
Abstract: A joint with a protrusion rod has a male buckle and a female buckle engaged with each other. The male buckled has a hollow insertion stub with multiple expansion slots and has a receiving hole to movably receive a protrusion rod. A distal end of the protrusion rod is movably engaged with the insertion stub. The protrusion rod has a locking plate and multiple fins correspondingly engaged with the expansion slots when the protrusion rod is wedged into the insertion stub. By having the above structure, difficulty of disengagement of the protrusion rod from the insertion stub is significantly increased to prevent the disengagement of the male buckle and the female buckle. Thus, the joint has increased combination strength and is excellent in utility.

  • Publication number: 20130201644
Abstract: A chip card removing device used for removing a chip card from an electronic device includes a housing and a chip card tray slidably mounted in the housing. The chip card tray includes a main body, and a stopping portion protruding from one end of the main body. The stopping portion and the main body form a receiving space for receiving the chip card. The stopping portion resists against the chip card. When the chip card tray is slid out of the housing, the chip card is brought with it to expose the chip card out of the housing. An electronic device using the chip card removing device is also described.

  • Patent number: 8420184
Abstract: A method for preparing a surface modification coating of metal bipolar plates is disclosed, which comprises the following steps: providing a substrate; pre-treating the substrate by processing the substrate, depositing a Ni-layer on the substrate, or a combination thereof, to form an activated layer on the surface of the substrate; packing the substrate in a powder mixture containing a permeated master metal, an activator, and filler powder; and heat-treating the packing to allow the permeated master metal to diffuse into the activated layer and then to form a surface modification coating. The permeation rate of the permeated master metal can be increased due to the activated layer having a high defect concentration. Hence, it is possible to prepare a surface modification coating at a low temperature. The surface modification coating of the present invention can also decrease the interface contact resistance between the bipolar plates and gas diffusion layers.

  • Publication number: 20120109625
Abstract: Verifying text translation in a program including obtaining a first program integrated information (PII) file and a second PII file of text in the program. An original page is generated by using the first PII file. Document object model (DOM) tree information of the original page is obtained. For each text unit in the original page: identification information corresponding to a first text unit in the first PII file is extracted; a second text unit is identified in the second PII file using the extracted identification information and a relationship between the identification information and the second text unit; and the first text unit is replaced in the DOM tree with the second text unit. A new page is generated using the text units from the second PII file.
