    Abstract: A method performed in a User Equipment (UE) is disclosed, the UE being operable to connect to a communication network. The method includes transmitting a path request message requesting a path for transmission of data to the communication network, the path request message including an identifier of the UE, and receiving at least one path message including an ordered list of identifiers of mobile nodes and of a base station node of the communication network that form a path for transmission of data from the UE to the communication network. The method further includes selecting a path from the received at least one path message and transmitting data to the first mobile node in the selected path. Based on determining that the spoofing alert message indicates that a spoofed GNSS condition is present, the UE determines, based on the spoofing alert message, a location of a spoofer broadcasting a spoofed GNSS signal, determines, based on the location of the spoofer and a current location of the UE, that the UE is within a receiving area of the spoofed GNSS signal, and determines a position of the UE without using the spoofed GNSS signal.

In cases where the UE indicates a capability for packet switched voice calls via the first RAN, one or more voice calls may be established with the UE via the first RAN. In cases where the UE indicates that it is not capable of packet switched voice calls via the first RAN, the UE may fall back to a different RAN (e.g., a 4G or LTE RAN, a 3G RAN, or a 2G RAN) for voice calls.

    Abstract: An apparatus and method for efficiently determining a final camera lens position that captures a focused input image are described. An image signal processing system of a camera capable of performing automatic focus includes a camera lens, an image sensor, a focus engine, and a lens controller. Rather than generate a single contrast value based on digital signals corresponding to a single image, the focus engine uses at least two value generators to generate multiple contrast values. The value generators are bandpass filters with different bandwidths from one another. The focus engine uses the multiple contrast values, rather than from a single contrast value, to determine a search direction for finding a final lens position of the camera lens, when to use relatively large or coarse step sizes for updating the lens position, and when to use relatively small or fine step sizes for updating the lens position.
