    Abstract: A synchronization device and a synchronization method for synchronizing a first node and a second node are provided. The first node supports a first time protocol profile, and the second node supports a second time protocol profile. The synchronization method includes: providing a system operating time by a counter; communicating with the first node based on the first time protocol profile to obtain first synchronization information; calculating a time delay according to the first synchronization information, and correcting the system operating time according to the time delay to generate a corrected system operating time; and communicating with the second node based on the second time protocol profile so as to provide the second node with second synchronization information according to the corrected system operating time.

The occasion or resource unit is selected based on one or more selection criteria. The one or more selection criteria may include a type, purpose, and/or priority of the random access, of an event that triggered the random access, or of the payload. Alternatively or additionally, the one or more selection criteria may include a capability of the wireless device to transmit both the random access preamble and the payload based on the same clear channel assessment. Regardless, the wireless device transmits the payload using the selected occasion or resource unit.

    Abstract: Embodiments include methods, performed by a user equipment (UE), for uplink (UL) transmission on a shared channel in a cell of a radio access network (RAN). Such methods include determining that the shared channel is unavailable for UL transmission of pending data during a first transmission opportunity. This determination can be based on performing a listen-before-talk (LBT) procedure on the shared channel. Such methods include determining that further data for UL transmission is available before a second transmission opportunity that is after the first transmission opportunity, and determining whether the pending data or the further data should be prioritized for UL transmission during the second transmission opportunity. This prioritization determination can be based on various factors. Such methods can also include transmitting the pending data or the further data, during the second transmission opportunity, based on the prioritization determination.
