Abstract: According to example embodiments of inventive concepts, a nonvolatile memory device includes a memory cell array, an address decoder, an input/output circuit, a voltage generation circuit, and control logic. The memory cell array includes a plurality of memory blocks on a substrate. Each of the memory blocks includes a plurality of strings connected between bit lines and a common source line. The address decoder is configured to measure impedance information of word lines of a selected memory block. The voltage generation circuit is configured to generate word line voltages to be applied to word lines, and at least one of the word line voltages includes an offset voltage and a target voltage. The control logic is configured to adjust a level of the offset voltage and the offset time depending on the measured impedance information of the word lines.

Abstract: Provided are a BAB-type tri-block copolymer including a polylactic acid (A) that is a hydrophobic block and polyethylene glycol (B) that is a hydrophilic block, a method of preparing the BAB-type tri-block copolymer including synthesizing a polylactic acid (A)-polyethylene glycol (B) di-block copolymer by a ring opening polymerization of a lactic acid monomer using a hydroxyl group of polyethylene glycol (B) as a polymerization initiator; and synthesizing a BAB-type tri-block copolymer by reacting the AB-type di-block copolymer with polyethylene glycol (B) including at least one carboxyl group at one or more terminals thereof in the presence of a coupling agent and a catalyst, and a drug delivery system using the BAB-type tri-block copolymer.

Abstract: A method of extracting an important keyword by an important keyword extracting server, the method includes receiving a set of one or more documents from a network, receiving one or more user defined keywords from a user terminal, calculating, by the server, a relative importance value for each of words detected in the set of documents, determining, by the server, a weight for each of the words based on the one or more user defined keywords, applying, by the server, the weight for each of the words to the relative importance value for each of the words, determining, by the server, at least one of the words to be the important keyword based on the relative importance value to which the weight is applied and transmitting, by the server, the important keyword to the user terminal. Therefore, the method may effectively detect a user defined keyword from at least one document.

Abstract: A method for controlling an inverter in a system including a load, a motor for driving the load, and an inverter for operating the motor comprises when a load amount of the load is reduced to below a sleep level, checking whether a time corresponding to a sleep delay has lapsed; when the load amount of the load is still below the sleep level even after the sleep delay, varying an operating frequency of the motor, and if there is no change in a feedback from the load in response to the variation in the operating frequency, controlling the inverter to enter a sleep mode.

The pump system includes an AC (alternating current) electric motor, a converter, a smoothing unit, an inverter, a volt/hertz pulse width-modulation controller, and a main controller. The AC electric motor operates a pump which is a load. The converter receives AC power and converts the AC power into DC (direct current) power. The smoothing unit smoothes a DC voltage converted by the converter. The inverter converts the DC voltage output from the smoothing unit into an AC voltage. The volt/hertz pulse width-modulation controller applies switching voltage to a semiconductor switching device of the inverter. The main controller changes an operating frequency according to a load detected when the Ac electric motor is in operation and puts the AC electric motor to a sleep mode after determining a load operation status.
