Abstract: An electrode structure comprises an introduction electrode and a body electrode, and a first isolating layer and a second isolating layer arranged between the introduction electrode and the body electrode. A first via hole is formed in the first isolating layer, a second via hole is formed in the second isolating layer. The hole axes of the first via hole and the second via hole are on the same straight line passing through the body electrode, so that a part of the body electrode is exposed via the first and the second via holes. The introduction electrode is electrically connected with the body electrode through the part of the body electrode. The diameter of the first via hole is smaller than that of the second via hole, and the first isolating layer extends to completely cover the hole wall of the second via hole.

Abstract: The present invention relates to apparatuses and methods for exchange of signaling information in coordinated multi-point (CoMP). Partial embodiments of the present invention provide a method for exchange of signaling information in CoMP, where a first transmission point and a second transmission point provide CoMP for at least one user equipment (UE). The method includes: the first transmission point determining resource allocation for at least one of the first transmission point and the second transmission point, that is, the first transmission point notifying the second transmission point of the determined resource allocation. The resource allocation includes at least one of beamforming, power, and UE scheduling of the corresponding transmission point. The present invention can support CoMP under practical network conditions more effectively.

Abstract: Methods and systems for identifying blobs, for example kidney glomeruli, are disclosed. A raw image may be smoothed via a difference of Gaussians filter, and a Hessian analysis may be conducted on the smoothed image to mark glomeruli candidates. Exemplary candidate features are identified, such as average intensity AT, likelihood of blobness RT, and flatness ST. A clustering algorithm may be utilized to post prune the glomeruli candidates.

Abstract: Power management methods, apparatus and articles of manufacture for audience measurement meters are disclosed. Example methods disclosed herein include obtaining presentation device state data representing an activation state of a media presentation device that is to present received media and is monitored by an audience measurement meter, the presentation device state data including time information. Such disclosed example methods also include determining whether to fault audience measurement data reported by the audience measurement meter based on the presentation device state data and power outage information determined from the audience measurement data.

Abstract: The invention achieves control over mixing controlled atmosphere storage of fruit vegetables by preparing an air-conditioned cold store, selecting fruits and vegetables, precooling, and stacking. Fruits and vegetables, upon pickup. are precooled to 9-11° C. in a vacuum pre-cooler for 12-24 hours. They are then stacked in a controlled atmosphere storage house. O2, CO2, N2 and Ar with different proportions are used for modified atmosphere packaging. The invention can extend the storage of mixing storage of various kinds of typical fruits and vegetables to more than 50 days, during which the fruits and vegetables are maintained in good color and flavor and have higher peroxidase, superoxide dismutase, catalase and cellulose activity; also, accumulation of hazardous substances such as superoxide anion free radical, hydrogen peroxide and malonaldehyde is effectively reduced, the retention rate of Vc is up to 80%-90%, and the weight loss ratio can be controlled to be below 8%.

Abstract: The present invention is related to an apparatus and method for signaling information exchanging in CoMP (Coordinated Multi-Point). According to an embodiment of the present invention, in a method for signaling information exchanging, a service TP (Transmission Point) and at least one neighboring TP provide the CoMP to at least one UE (User Equipment). The method comprises receiving by the service TP a precoder feedback from at least one UE, wherein the precoder is specific to one of the least one neighboring TP. The service TP decides if the precoder should be sent to the specific neighboring TP. If affirmative, the service TP compresses an indicator indicating the precoder and sends the compressed indicator to the specific neighboring TP.

Specifically, redundancy is provided by selecting a portion of original data from each of a plurality of original channels, performing at least one encoding operation using the portions of original data to produce at least one portion of redundancy data, including the portion of redundancy data in at least one redundancy channel, and transmitting the redundancy channel along with the original channels. Error correction is achieved by receiving at least one redundancy channel and a plurality of original channels, selecting a portion of redundancy data from the redundancy channel, selecting a portion of original data from each of the original channels, and performing at least one decoding operation using the portion of redundancy data and the portions of original data to correct at least one error in the portions of original data.
