    Abstract: An electronic device including a signal processing circuit, an acceleration sensor, and an edge sensor is provided. The electronic device has a device body. The signal processing circuit operates in a sleep mode. The acceleration sensor senses an acceleration variation of the device body to generate an acceleration sensing signal. The acceleration sensor determines whether the acceleration sensing signal is continuously lower than an acceleration threshold for a preset length of time to wake up the signal processing circuit. When the acceleration sensor wakes up the signal processing circuit, the signal processor enables the edge sensor. The edge sensor senses a deformation variation of the device body to generate at least one deformation sensing signal. The signal processing circuit analyzes the deformation sensing signal to determine whether a drop event of the device body occurs. In addition, a drop warning method is also provided.

    Abstract: A method for forming a wrench end includes the steps of preparing a flat blank, initially press-forging at least one end of the blank to form a head with a wrench-shaped part and a hole on the blank, bending the head to form a curved section and a stretched section which are bent at different angles, and shaping the head by holding the curved section and the stretched section with a gripping apparatus and then pressing the hole of the head with a punch in order to subject the two sections to a squeezing force whereby the sections can have a denser interior structure and facilitate a final shaping of the head. The method facilitates a quick shaping of the wrench end and increases the efficiency of forming a wrench product.

The phase detection module receives an IF signal, and detects a sine and a cosine signals corresponding to the IF signal. The computation module receives the sine and the cosine signals, and computes a phase angle between the sine and the cosine signals. The phase angle adjustment module adjusts the phase angle according to one of the sine and the cosine signals and a threshold. The loop filter generates a frequency offset angle according to the phase angle. The conversion module generates a sine and a cosine parameters according to the frequency offset angle, and transfers the sine and the cosine parameters to the phase detection module.
