    Abstract: Provided are apparatus and methods relating to the finishing line of a continuous solution polymerization plant. In one aspect, an apparatus includes a pelletizer having cooling liquid, e.g., water or aqueous solution, into which is added a pelletization aid. In another aspect, the apparatus comprises means to remove residual polymer particles from the pelletizer cooling liquid. In a further aspect, the apparatus comprises conduits of at least 50 m in length for carrying propellant cooling liquid from the pelletizer to a drying apparatus. The residence time of the pellets in the cooling liquid may be 10 seconds or more. In a further aspect, a drying apparatus is provided for the pellets which comprises first and second drying zones. In a further aspect, a pneumatic conveyor is provided for carrying pellets to a packaging apparatus. In a further aspect, a packaging apparatus is provided comprising a blender silo.

    Abstract: A hydraulic brake system includes a body with cavities, a vacuum brake booster port, a first caliber port and a channel system defined therein. An accumulator is located in a first one of the cavities. A first proportional solenoid valve is located in a second one of the cavities. A traction control valve is located in a third one of the cavities. The channel system is connected to the accumulator, the first proportional solenoid valve and the traction control valve via the first, second and third cavities. The channel system is further connected to the vacuum brake booster port and the first caliber port. The vacuum brake booster port, the accumulator, the first proportional solenoid valve, the traction control valve and the channel system are used together to control brake fluid to exert a first baking force on the first caliber port.

There are provided first and second coating devices and a joining device. The first coating device is used to form a transparent electrode layer on the first face of the first substrate. The second coating device is used to form an absorbing layer on the first face of the second substrate. The second substrate is selenized by hot pressing. The joining device is used to join together the first and second substrates by joining the transparent electrode layer with the absorbing layer. The transparent electrode layer is joined with the absorbing layer by hot pressing. Thus, the solar cell is not made by coating one layer on another. Time for making the solar cell is reduced.

    Abstract: A method of fabricating an integrated circuit including bipolar transistors that reduces the effects of transistor performance degradation and transistor mismatch caused by charging during plasma etch, and the integrated circuit so formed. A fluorine implant is performed at those locations at which isolation dielectric structures between base and emitter are to be formed, prior to formation of the isolation dielectric. The isolation dielectric structures may be formed by either shallow trench isolation, in which the fluorine implant is performed after trench etch, or LOCOS oxidation, in which the fluorine implant is performed prior to thermal oxidation. The fluorine implant may be normal to the device surface or at an angle from the normal. Completion of the integrated circuit is then carried out, including the use of relatively thick copper metallization requiring plasma etch.

    Abstract: A videoscope preheater for preheating an endoscope includes: a support tube; an electrical heating layer uniformly coated on an outer surface of the support tube, one side of the electrical heating layer being connected with a power cable for connecting with an external power supply; and a capsule layer coated on an outer surface of the electrical heating layer for fixing and protecting the electrical heating layer and the power cable. The capsule layer is a thermally contractible capsule film, which is fitted around the electrical heating layer and then heated to contract for insulating the electrical heating layer and the support tube from ambient environment. In use, the endoscope is fitted into the support tube and the electrical heating layer is powered on to generate heat and uniformly heat the endoscope. The heating efficiency of the videoscope preheater is controllable by means of adjusting the current and voltage input.
