    Abstract: A front and rear compound liquid crystal display includes a liquid crystal film which is selectively disposed in front of or behind an image display unit. The liquid crystal film can be controlled in a transparent, translucent or opaque state. In case the liquid crystal film is disposed in front of the image display unit, when the liquid crystal film is in the opaque state, it can function as a white board; when the liquid crystal film is in the transparent state, it can display the content of the image display unit. In case the liquid crystal film is disposed behind the image display unit, when the liquid crystal film is in the transparent state, it has visual penetration; when the liquid crystal film is in the opaque state, it can function as a reflection plate for the image of the image display unit to be displayed clearly.

The watch band can be in different colors to mate with cell phone to enhance its fashion.

A difference between the first transmitting frequency and the first receiving frequency is calculated and used as a frequency difference. The transmitting module is for performing following steps. A BS parameter corresponding to the first BS is obtained. A frequency compensation value according to the BS parameter is calculated. A second transmitting frequency according to the frequency compensation value corresponding to the first BS is compensated. A second signal to the first BS at the compensated second transmitting frequency is sent.

    Abstract: A buck converter includes a pulse width modulation unit, a first switch, a second switch, an inductance, and a sensor near the inductance. The pulse width modulation unit controls the first switch and the second switch power to allow or disallow electrical conduction. The sensor senses the state of the inductance in respect of a sound event, a vibration event, and a drop in current level. When the inductance is saturated and gives rise to one or more of the foregoing events, the sensor sends a signal to the pulse width modulation unit, which controls the first switch to cut off power and the second switch to allow conduction, allowing the inductance to release all its electrical energy.

An electrochromic thin film is then deposited on at least one surface of the cathode and the exposed surface of the anode. Thereafter, an electrolyte layer is formed on a surface of the thin-film solar cell to cover the electrochromic thin film. The anode and the cathode of the thin-film solar cell also serve as the anode and the cathode of the photovoltaic electrochromic device.
