Abstract: Methods of making prepregs are described. The methods include the steps of forming a fiber-containing substrate, and contacting the fiber-containing substrate with a resin mixture. The resin mixture may include polymer particles mixed in a liquid medium, and the polymer particles may be coated on the fiber-containing substrate to form a coated substrate. The liquid medium may be removed from the coated substrate to form the prepreg. The prepregs may be used to make fiber-reinforced articles.

Abstract: A combination showerhead with dial button switching includes a fixing seat, two shower heads and a switch mechanism. The fixing seat has an inlet waterway and at least two diversion waterways. The switch mechanism includes a water diversion plate, a valve spool, a dial button and an elastic body. The water diversion plate is movably connected to the fixing seat and coupled to the inlet waterway and the diversion waterways, so that the plate rotates in a preset angle to switch the waterways. The valve spool is connected to the fixing seat and to the water diversion plate, so that the valve spool slides to drive the water diversion plate to rotate in a preset angle. The dial button has a cam portion and is rotatably connected to the fixing seat. The valve spool abuts against the periphery surface of the cam portion. The elastic body resets the valve spool.

Abstract: A cool water draining switch valve includes a valve body, a valve spool and a thermal module disposed in the valve body; the valve body has an inlet passage and a first outlet passage and a second outlet passage respectively connected to the inlet passage; the valve body is further disposed with a cool water draining passage connected to the inlet passage; the first outlet passage is connected to the cool water draining passage by a water draining hole, the second outlet passage is connected to the draining passage in unidirectional way by a check valve; a thermal port of the thermal module detects the water temperature of the draining passage, a retractable port of the thermal module opens or closes the water draining hole; when the valve spool is switched to a cool water draining mode, cool water in the inlet passage is drained to the draining passage.

Abstract: A thermoplastic product includes a fabric-based reinforcing sheet and a polymerized thermoplastic material. The fabric-based reinforcing sheet is wound about a mandrel to form a plurality of layers having a cross-sectional shape that corresponds to the mandrel. The fabric-based reinforcing sheet includes a plurality of fiber bundles, which may have a bidirectional orientation or configuration. A polymerized thermoplastic material is disposed within each layer of the fabric-based reinforcing sheet. The polymerized thermoplastic material bonds each layer of the fabric-based reinforcing sheet to an adjacent layer.

Abstract: Embodiments of the present technology may include a method of making a thermoplastic composite strand. The method may include melting a reactive thermoplastic resin to form a molten reactive resin. The method may also include fully impregnating a plurality of continuous fibers with the molten reactive resin in an impregnation device. The method may further include polymerizing the molten reactive resin to form a thermoplastic resin matrix. In addition, the method may include cooling the thermoplastic resin matrix to form a thermoplastic composite strand.

Abstract: Fiber-containing polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) prepregs are described that include a first and second plurality of fibers. The second plurality of fibers is made from a different material than the first plurality of fibers. The PMMA prepregs also contain a polymerized resin that includes polymethyl methacrylate that has been formed from a reactive resin composition that includes methyl methacrylate. Methods of making fiber-containing PMMA prepregs are also described.

Abstract: An outlet device that may be used in a shower head includes a base portion that is disposed with at least one inlet and a plurality of diversion holes. The base portion is disposed with a impeller. The impeller rotates when it is impacted by water flowing. A guard sheet is movably disposed in the base portion. The impeller is connected to the guard sheet in driving way so that the impeller rotates to drive the guard sheet to move. The guard sheet moves with respect to the base portion to control the diversion holes to outflow water in cycles intermittently. Each diversion hole is rotatably connected with an outlet nozzle. The impeller rotates to drive the outlet nozzles to rotate to outflow rotating water. The impeller and the outlet nozzles cooperate to achieve a rotating water with strong massage effect.

Abstract: Methods of making a fiber-reinforced composite are described. The methods may include applying a sizing composition to a plurality of fibers to make sized fibers, where the sizing composition may include at least one of a curing agent or an accelerator for a resin composition. The sized fibers may be contacted with the resin composition to form a resin-fiber amalgam, where the resin composition includes 50 wt. % or less of a total amount of the curing agent and the accelerator that is also present on the sized fibers. The resin-fiber amalgam may then be cured to form the fiber-reinforced composite.

The reactive fibers are sized with the coupling agent that reacts with the thermoplastic resin to form the fiber-resin composition, which may be extruded from the extruder. Methods of making fiber-reinforced composite articles from the fiber-resin composition are also described.

The first and second crosslinking compounds are individually crosslinkable with each other and with the protein. Examples of the protein include soy protein. Fiber products and methods of making the fiber products are also described. The fiber products may include organic fibers, inorganic fibers, or both, in a cured thermoset binder based on solutions of the one-part binder compositions.
