  • Patent number: 5381272
Abstract: A lens barrel including a fixed drum, a rotary drum rotatably fitted in the fixed drum and a lens drum, disposed in the rotary drum, for accommodating lens. The lens drum is movable in the optical-axis direction of the lens with a rotation of the rotary drum. The lens barrel has an adjusting drum disposed in a subject-side position between the fixed drum and the rotary drum. The adjusting drum thread-engages with the fixed drum. The adjusting drum is, when rotated, moved in the optical-axis direction. With this movement, the rotary drum and the lens drum also move in the optical-axis direction, thus adjusting a relative position of the rotary drum with respect to the fixed drum.

  • Patent number: 5276578
Abstract: A high magnetic head for floppy disk drives that can prevent crosstalk between magnetic cores. Two nonmagnetic material pieces are joined with two magnetic material pieces, respectively, and track grooves and a winding groove are formed on a surface of each of the two magnetic material pieces. The nonmagnetic material pieces are joined together to form a core block with those surfaces facing each other on which the grooves are formed. The core block is cut to a plurality of front core assemblies. The core assembly includes a magnetic circuit having a magnetic gap, and nonmagnetic spacer members which do not form a magnetic circuit, thereby preventing crosstalk between the magnetic cores constituting the composite type magnetic head.

  • Patent number: 5072323
Abstract: In a magnetic head in which first and second core halves are disposed on the entry and leaving sides of a magnetic recording medium, respectively, one of the first and second core halves is provided with a first edge for limiting a data track width and second edges which are disposed on both sides of the first edge and are inclined by a first angle with respect to the first edge. The other core half is provided with a third edge which is opposed to the first edge and is equal in length to the first edge. The other core half is also provided with fourth edges disposed on both sides of the third edge and inclined by a second angle with respect to the third edge. The data recording is made in the magnetic field between the first and third edges. Furthermore, the recording is made on both sides of the data track by the magnetic fields between the second and fourth edges so that erasure of old data can still occur despite deviation of the positions of the new and old data tracks.

  • Patent number: 4994884
Abstract: In the gate-controlled bi-directional semiconductor switching device, when a negative trigger signal is applied to a second electrode functioning as a gate electrode, a second auxiliary thyristor formed of the sixth, third, first and eighth conductive layers is turned on, causing an ON current to be supplied as a gate current to a main thyristor formed of the fifth, second, first and eighth conductive layers via the first wiring. When a positive trigger signal is applied to the second electrode, a first auxiliary thyristor formed of the seventh, fourth, first and eighth conductive layers is turned on, causing an ON current to be supplied as a gate current to the main thyristor via the second wiring. Since the second electrode is connected to the fourth and sixth conductive layers of the first and second auxiliary thyristors are formed separately from the third and seventh conductive layers, invalid current components in the first and second thyristors are reduced to a minimum.
