  • Patent number: 7471521
Abstract: An electronic device includes: a circuit board having a convex-curved component and a housing having a support member with a concave-curved end and receiving the convex-curved component of the circuit board. The convex-curved component is freely turnable in the concave-curved end. Thereby, a simple structure prevents moments from being transmitted to the circuit board from a housing.

  • Patent number: 7433179
Abstract: An electronic apparatus includes first and second display devices having first and second display screens held in first and second housings, respectively. The second display screen is provided with a sensor which generates an output signal determining an input area in response to an external predetermined input to the second display screen. The first and second housings are connected together by a connecting mechanism so that an opening angle between the first and second housings can be adjusted. A first interface image is displayed on the second display screen. An instruction input to the interface image is determined on the basis of a sensor output signal. In response to the instruction input, a second display image is displayed in place of the first display image. • Publication number: 20080068814
Abstract: An electronic equipment is provided with a housing which is assembled by combining first and second cases. The first and second cases are provided with first and second projections on inner surfaces of the first and second cases. A circuit board is located in the housing, which has a hole having a diameter larger than those of the first and second projections. The first and second projections are so engaged with each other as to be inserted in the hole. Stoppers are provided around the first and second projections so as to form gaps between first and second projections and the circuit board.

  • Patent number: 7106580
Abstract: A mobile electronic appliance comprises a substantially box-shaped first casing having a display section housed therein and a substantially box-shaped second casing having an electronic unit housed therein. The first casing is folded such that the folded first casing is disposed to cover the upper surface of the second casing. The electronic appliance is carried under the state that the display section is closed. Swollen portions each having a void space included therein are formed in the four corner portions of the second casing. The swollen portions expanded outward are formed contiguous to side portions with sloped portions interposed therebetween. The distance between the swollen portion and the side portion is determined not to be smaller than the braking distance that is determined from a prescribed dropping height.
