    Abstract: To provide a fabricating method and a fabricating apparatus for a lithium-ion secondary battery having stable charge characteristics and lifetime characteristics. A positive electrode is subjected to an electrochemical reaction in a large amount of electrolytic solution in advance before a secondary battery is completed. In this manner, the positive electrode can have stability. The use of the positive electrode enables fabrication of a highly reliable secondary battery. Similarly, a negative electrode is subjected to an electrochemical reaction in a large amount of electrolytic solution in advance. A secondary battery which is resistant to external force is obtained. An opening is provided in a central portion of the secondary battery, and a terminal is formed in the opening. An outer edge of the secondary battery is fixed by thermocompression bonding. In addition, the central portion of the secondary battery is fixed by thermocompression bonding, so that the amount of bending is limited even when the outer edge portion of the secondary battery is bent.

The second circuit includes a capacitor and a transistor in which an oxide semiconductor is used for a channel formation region. The transistor is turned on or off in response to a pulse signal input to a gate of the transistor. The capacitor accumulates charge when the current depending on the charging current flows through the transistor.
