  • Publication number: 20150155528
Abstract: A power storage unit or the like which has flexibility is achieved. An exterior body has projections and depressions. For example, part of the exterior body has projections and depressions in a wave cross-sectional shape. The shape of the projections and depressions is not limited to a shape with a curve and may be a shape with a straight line, such as a rectangle wave shape or a triangle wave shape. The projections and depressions allows the exterior body to be easily shrunk on the inner side of a bend portion and easily stretched on the outer side of the bend portion.

  • Publication number: 20150140400
Abstract: A short-circuit between a positive electrode and a negative electrode due to a deposit on an electrode plate is prevented in a power storage unit such as a lithium-ion secondary battery. An electrode plate is covered by a folded insulating sheet. Bonding is performed on facing edges of the sheet which overlap with each other in a portion outer than the electrode plate. One or more openings are formed in the electrode plate, and the facing edges of the folded sheet are bonded to each other also in the opening. Such a bonding portion enables the sheet to be in closer contact with the electrode plate and prevents the displacement between the sheet and the electrode plate. When the electrode plate is deformed or vibrated, the sheet can be rubbed against a surface of the electrode plate, thereby removing a deposit from the surface of the electrode plate.

  • Publication number: 20150129741
Abstract: In an arm support apparatus, a grippable member is connected to a longitudinal mount and is located such that a part of the grippable member is grippable by a hand of an arm when a part of the arm is mounted on the longitudinal mount. The hand is located to be closer to the first end of the longitudinal mount than to the second end of the longitudinal mount. A second limiter limits movement of the part of the arm mounted on the longitudinal mount in both a first direction and a second direction. The first direction is away from the second end of the longitudinal mount in the longitudinal direction. The second direction is parallel to the lateral width of the longitudinal mount and perpendicular to the longitudinal direction.

  • Publication number: 20150111107
Abstract: To improve the adhesion between a current collector and an electrode active material so as to improve long-term reliability. An electrode is formed in the following manner: an electrode active material (a negative electrode active material or a positive electrode active material) is formed over a base, a conductive film is formed over the electrode active material by a sputtering method, the base and the electrode active material are separated at the interface therebetween, and the electrode active material is made in contact with a current collector. The conductive film has a surface with projections and depressions because the conductive film is formed on the electrode active material containing particles. Accordingly, moderate adhesion can be provided between the conductive film and the current collector, with which stress at the interface between the conductive film and the current collector can be reduced while conductivity is maintained.
