  • Publication number: 20010017847
Abstract: The present invention discloses a network system for an interactive transmission in first and second directions. The network system includes a plurality of node devices, and a first node device of the node devices can selectively output a signal in the first direction or perform the returning output of a signal. A second node device adjacent to the first node device outputs a signal to the first node device through a channel which is used by the first node device for the returning output, hence the first and second node device are controlled such that those first and second node devices do not use the returning channel of the first node device concurrently.

  • Patent number: 6078415
Abstract: In a network system providing communication through a multi-channel transmission path with n channels, N buffers in each of plural node devices temporarily store signals for transmission through the n channels. A channel control device alters the channels through which the signals from the buffers are sent so that the signals from plural buffers cannot be sent concurrently to the same channel. A buffer control device controls the read out of signals from the buffers through the n channels selected for signal transmission synchronously with the channel alteration. A node device receiving signals from another node device includes reception devices that receive signals from the n channels, respectively.

  • Patent number: 6044076
Abstract: A source terminal equipment connected to a node device transmits a packet by appending a section for designating the channel to be used upon relaying the packet by the node device to the packet. The relaying node device determines the channel used upon outputting the packet by looking up the value in the section for designation of the channel. The source terminal equipment transmits the packet by appending relaying number information indicating the number of relayings of the packet to the packet. Each node device looks up the relaying number information upon looking up the value in the section for designation of the channel. When each node device outputs a packet to a terminal equipment using a separation device for separating the packet toward the sub transmission path side, the node devices determines, based on the relaying number information, whether or not it separates the packet.

  • Patent number: 6038236
Abstract: In a network system for effecting signal transmission by plural channels, there are provided plural channel alteration units each of which is adapted to receive signals through plural channels and to output each of the signals entered by said plural channels in any of plural channels. Transmission control is executed in such a manner that mutually proximate plural signals, which have to be outputted by a designated same channel among the plural channels from a first one of the plural channel alteration units, are entered through respectively different channels into the first channel alteration unit. As the first channel alteration unit receives the plural signals by different channels, there can be resolved the drawback of a long waiting time for the output of the signals by a desired channel, encountered in case the signals are entered by a signal channel.

  • Patent number: 5930014
Abstract: A node device is constructed such that the number of relayings can be reduced where communication is performed between terminal equipments connected to this node device. A signal from the terminal equipment is stored in a buffer of the node device. A part of output channels of a connection unit for selecting the output channel of the buffer is guided to a separation unit of this node device. The separation unit separates a signal, which is to be output to the terminal equipment connected to this separation unit, and sends the separated signal to this terminal equipment.
