  • Patent number: 11540236
Abstract: A victim user equipment (UE) may experience cross-link interference (CLI) from transmissions from an aggressor UE. The present disclosure provides for a cell-group transmission power control (TPC) command that allows the base station to adjust the transmission power of uplink transmissions on multiple cells in order to mitigate cross-link interference. A UE may receive the cell-group TPC command as a single downlink control information (DCI) that indicates a plurality of TPC commands for a plurality of cells that are configured for the UE. The UE may adjust a transmit power for a respective uplink transmission for each respective cell of the plurality of cells based on a respective TPC command of the plurality of TPC commands.

  • Patent number: 11540228
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communication are described. A user equipment (UE), operating in a serving cell, may adjust a transmit power of an uplink message when a neighboring cell is operating in an opposite direction (e.g., relative to the direction of communications in the serving cell) within a same or similar frequency band in a same time period. The UE may receive control signaling that indicates a first power control configuration to be used when the neighboring cell is operating in a same direction as the serving cell and a second power control configuration to be used when the neighboring cell is operating in a different direction from the serving cell. The UE may select the appropriate power control configuration based on the communications directions of the serving cell and the neighboring cell and may transmit the uplink message in accordance with the selected power control configuration.

  • Publication number: 20220394732
Abstract: Aspects relate to measuring interference associated with sidelink communication. A UE that supports full-duplex communication may transmit on a first frequency resource and conduct self-interference measurements on a second frequency resource (e.g., a guard band) adjacent to the first frequency resource. Provisions may be made to ensure that other nearby wireless communication devices do not transmit on the second set of frequency resources when the UE is conducting an interference measurement. In a first resource allocation mode, a base station that allocates full-duplex resources for a first UE may ensure that any UEs that are near the first UE are not scheduled to transmit on a guard band when the UE is conducting an interference measurement. In a second resource allocation mode, a UE may reserve resources that are predefined with a guard band or the UE may reserve resources and use a subset of the resources for interference measurements.

  • Publication number: 20220393485
Abstract: An apparatus includes a battery pack with N battery bricks, each with a DC output voltage. The output of each brick is connected in series providing a bus voltage. Each brick includes battery power modules (“BPMs”) connected in parallel and each connected to a battery cell. Each BPM charges/discharges the connected battery cell. Each brick has a battery brick controller that provides a control signal to each brick's BPMs. A control signal of a BPM is derived from a BPM error signal that includes a battery cell current of the battery cell of BPM subtracted from a summation of an average current signal, a local droop current and a balancing current. The balancing current is based on a current SOC of the battery cell connected to the BPM and a desired SOC for the battery cell connected to the BPM. A BMS derives the balancing current for the BPMs.

  • Publication number: 20220386310
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A first base station may communicate during asynchronous slots in accordance with a set of communication parameters determined from a handshake procedure performed with a second base station. For example, based on a change to a slot type of a slot to an asynchronous slot, the first base station and the second base station may perform the handshake procedure to determine the set of communication parameters and may communicate one or more messages during the slot in accordance with the set of communication parameters. Additionally, or alternatively, a user equipment (UE) may transmit a sounding reference signal (SRS) associated with a transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state based on a slot type of a first slot in which the UE transmits the SRS and a reference signal received in a second slot having the slot type.

  • Publication number: 20220385573
Abstract: The present technology pertains to a group-based network policy using Segment Routing over an IPv6 dataplane (SRv6). After a source application sends a packet, an ingress node can receive the packet, and if the source node is capable, it can identify an application policy and apply it. The ingress node indicates that the policy has been applied by including policy bits in the packet encapsulation. When the packet is received by the egress node, it can determine whether the policy was already applied, and if so, the packet is forward to the destination application. If the egress node determines that the policy has not be applied the destination application can apply the policy. Both the ingress node and egress nodes can learn of source application groups, destination application groups, and applicable policies through communication with aspects of the segment routing fabric.

  • Publication number: 20220386367
Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A full-duplex device may perform a channel access procedure using multiple threshold values to determine whether self-interference at the full-duplex device is affecting the channel access procedure. For example, if a first amount of energy detected during a first sensing operation of the channel access procedure is determined to be between a first threshold value and a second threshold value, the full-duplex device may perform a self-interference measurement on the shared channel and may transmit on the shared channel if the self-interference measurement exceeds a self-interference threshold value. Additionally or alternatively, if the self-interference measurement does not exceed the self-interference threshold value, the full-duplex device may refrain from transmitting on the shared channel.

  • Publication number: 20220377689
Abstract: A user equipment (UE), such as a full-duplex UE, may receive a downlink transmission from a first transmit-receive point (TRP) in a full-duplex multi-TRP configuration. The UE may perform an uplink transmission to a second TRP in the full-duplex multi-TRP configuration based at least in part on a timing advance adjustment associated with the uplink transmission. The UE may apply the timing advance adjustment based at least in part on an indication received from a base station. The indication may be to set a timing advance offset to a value that satisfies a threshold value based at least in part on the downlink transmission and the uplink transmission being associated with two different TRPs. The downlink transmission and the uplink transmission may not be separated by a guard symbol when the downlink transmission and the uplink transmission are associated with the two different TRPs, which may improve a resource utilization.

  • Publication number: 20220376818
Abstract: In a wireless network, a user equipment (UE) may skip an uplink transmission associated with a dynamic uplink grant. In such cases, when the UE skips an uplink transmission that would have been concurrent with a downlink transmission, the UE may perform one or more mode-dependent control operations. For example, because the uplink transmission would result in a full-duplex operation if the UE were to perform the uplink transmission, the UE may reset a timer associated with switching from a full-duplex mode to a half-duplex mode and/or perform one or more mode-dependent control operations in the full-duplex mode. Alternatively, because the UE refrains from performing the uplink transmission that would have resulted in a full-duplex operation, the UE may maintain the timer associated with switching from the full-duplex mode to the half-duplex mode and/or perform the one or more mode-dependent control operations in the half-duplex mode.
