A method performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving scheduling information from a network entity, wherein the scheduling information schedules transmission of a plurality of uplink data channel repetitions in a plurality of slots according to a frequency hopping scheme that configures frequency hops between transmissions of repetitions of the plurality of uplink data channel repetitions. The method also includes taking one or more actions related to transmitting, according to the frequency hopping scheme, the plurality of uplink data channel repetitions in the plurality of slots based on the scheduling information.
