  • Publication number: 20120078071
Abstract: Systems and methods for processing, transmitting, and displaying data received from a continuous analyte (e.g., glucose) sensor are provided. A sensor system can comprise a sensor electronics module that includes power saving features, e.g., a low power measurement circuit that can be switched between a measurement mode and a low power mode, wherein charging circuitry continues to apply power to electrodes of a sensor during the low power mode. The sensor electronics module can be switched between a low power storage mode and a higher power operational mode via a switch, e.g., a reed switch or optical switch. A validation routine can be implemented to ensure an interrupt signal sent from the switch is valid. The sensor can be physically connected to the sensor electronics module in direct wireless communication with a plurality of different display devices.

  • Publication number: 20120057557
Abstract: Methods and systems for conveying or transmitting to any given user in an OFDMA-MU-MIMO system scheduling information of other co-scheduled users to permit the user to perform error-correction on received data and/or interference reduction on its received signals. The scheduling information can include resource block assignment, modulation constellations employed, coding rates employed, power levels utilized and precoder matrix indices used. Further, the scheduling information can be conveyed in part through dedicated reference symbol layers or pilot streams. Moreover, a base station may transmit a preliminary estimate of the total number of users the base station expects to schedule, or an upper-bound on the total number of users, to the MU-MIMO users to permit the MU-MIMO users to determine preferred precoder matrix indices and indications of channel quality indices.

  • Patent number: 8094887
Abstract: A method for analyzing image identifications to determine whether image identifications identify an entity (e.g., license plate of a vehicle). Identification sets are received from at least one optical character recognition (OCR) engine. Each identification set includes a character string and an associated confidence level. Each character string is derived by the respective OCR engine from an image of the entity. An identification set is received from each OCR engine. The character strings are compared, resulting in identifying all conflicting character strings, wherein any two non-identical character strings are considered to be conflicting. The confidence level in each identification set is analyzed, resulting in determining whether each confidence level exceeds a predefined threshold confidence level. At least one rule is applied to the preceding results to ascertain whether or not the entity has been identified. An indication of whether or not the entity has been identified is stored.

Abstract: This project is related to the inventor, Cyrus Nejat, previous patent Application Number: U.S. Ser. No. 12/011,127. In this study, the main discussion emphasizes on building a spacecraft based on mathematics. The orientation of the low thrust engine spacecraft was structured in such a way that the Kinematics and kinetics equations be written for large elements, by means of the purposed Nejat Kinetics Expansions and Nejat Kinematics Expansions. These equations were used to design Nejat Space Station. Simplified CN (Cyrus Nejat) Equations of Motion used for the Special Spacecraft Rout in Space.

  • Publication number: 20110170626
Abstract: Methods and systems for coding multicast information signals are disclosed. Signal transformations imposed by communication links with a plurality of receivers that are grouped into subsets of receivers can be determined. In addition, a coding design can be generated by employing dimension parameters that are related to achievable capacity rates of the subsets of receivers and are determined by constraining a sum of the dimension parameters to be less than or equal to a dimension of a union of subspaces of signal values that are receivable by the receivers. Output signals can be generated by applying the coding design to multicast information to compensate for the signal transformations. Further, the output signals can be transmitted to the plurality of receivers.
