  • Publication number: 20190356566
Abstract: Systems are provided for facilitating the disclosed methods for performing event storage and diagnostic processing within a hybrid cloud environment. Event records are gathered and batched at an on-premises server. The event records are also appended with correlation vector data that enables the event records to be correlated with other events. The batch of event record batches are signed with a security key associated with a cloud storage container and the on-premises server is restricted to writing the batch of event records to the container. In some instances, the size of the batch is based on a duration of time for collecting records, which can be adjusted to accommodate for missing data.

  • Patent number: 10482055
Abstract: Systems, apparatus, methods and techniques that can provide optimized low-latency communications between different devices such that GPIO signals may be carried as virtual signals. A virtual GPIO finite state machine in a first device is provided that can consolidate GPIO-related events by initiating a wait period after a first-occurring event and that has a duration selected to permit one or more later-occurring events to be detected before transmission of virtual GPIO data over a data communication bus to a second device. One method may include initiating a wait period after detecting a first change in GPIO state, refraining from transmitting virtual GPIO data during the wait period, detecting occurrence of a second change in GPIO state during the wait period, and transmitting virtual GPIO data corresponding to the first and second changes in GPIO state over the serial bus after the wait period has expired.

  • Patent number: 10467790
Abstract: A system receives a page request for a requested document, where the requested document specifies a set of first images as being presentable within the requested document. In response to the received page request, the system modifies the requested document and generates a modified document. The modified document specifies a second image that is to be generated based on the set of first images. The system generates the second image, based on the set of first images, and provides the modified document and access to the second image. The second image is an aggregation of the first images, which are represented within the second image as sprites to be rendered with the modified document. The modified document may use these sprites by specifying regions within the second image as being presentable within the modified document, where these regions correspond to the first images.

  • Patent number: 10469214
Abstract: Techniques and mechanisms for a clock recovery circuit to generate a cyclical signal based on data signals which are susceptible to circuit switching jitter. In an embodiment, a clock recovery circuit comprises switch circuitry which receives a first signal representing a logical combination of multiple pulsed signals (which, in turn, are each based on a different respective differential data signal). The switch circuitry provides to latch circuitry of the clock recovery circuit a second signal based on the first signal. The latch circuitry generates a cyclical signal based on the second signal, and transitions the switch circuitry between an open-circuit state and a closed-circuit state. In another embodiment, the latch circuitry implements a predetermined and configurable time period between a transition of the cyclical signal and a next subsequent logic state transition of the cyclical signal.

  • Patent number: 10467216
Abstract: Techniques for cloning, writing to, and reading from file system metadata. Cloning involves identifying a first set of pointers included in a first root node in a file system metadata tree structure that stores file system metadata n leaf nodes of the tree structure, creating a first copy of the first root node that includes the first set of pointers, creating a second copy of the first root node that includes the first set of pointers, associating the first copy with a first view, and associating the second copy with a second view. Reading generally involves traversing the tree structure towards a target leaf node that contains data to be read. Writing generally involves traversing the tree structure n the same manner, but also creating copies of any nodes to be modified if those nodes are deemed to have a different treeID than a particular root node.

  • Patent number: 10469461
Abstract: A device may receive a packet from a first endpoint that is destined for a second endpoint. The first endpoint may be hosted on the device. The device may determine whether a secure session exists between the first endpoint and the second endpoint. The secure session may permit encrypted traffic to be exchanged between the first endpoint and the second endpoint. The device may process the packet using a set of rules after determining whether the secure session exists between the first endpoint and the second endpoint. The device may encrypt the packet using security information associated with the secure session after determining that the secure session exists, or establishing the secure session when the secure session does not exist. The device may provide the packet toward the second endpoint after encrypting the packet.
