  • Patent number: 10530747
Abstract: The present disclosure is directed towards systems and methods for transmitting data packets to a software container executing on a host computing device. A network service can be enabled within a software container established on the host computing device. A data packet of a request formatted according to the network service can be received via a first port of a first subnetwork assigned to the host computing device. The data packet can be forwarded to a second port assigned to the software container, responsive to a network address translation rule associating the second port assigned to the software container with the first port of the host computing device. The second port can be a port of a second subnetwork assigned to the software container. The data packet can be processed according to the network service within the software container.

  • Patent number: 10528021
Abstract: A multi-platform industrial search and notification system performs automated and manually initiate information searches across multiple disparate industrial data platforms. The search system is built on a search platform that unifies plant-wide control system information from multiple diverse sources under a common namespace, or federated data model. The system can monitor this federated data model for conditions that may warrant attention by plant personnel, and deliver proactive notifications and operational data to selected users via their personal devices. The system can customize presentation of this data based on the user's role, location, and/or other contextual information. To this end, the system can automatically generate user-specific and context-specific dashboards, widgets, or other visualizations, and render these custom visualizations to the user at appropriate times.

  • Patent number: 10521392
Abstract: Systems, methods, and apparatus for communicating datagrams over a serial communication link are provided. A transmitting device generates an address field in a datagram, sets a value of at least one bit in the address field to indicate a number of bytes of data associated with a data frame of the datagram, generates the data frame in the datagram, the data frame including the number of bytes of data, and sends the datagram to a receiving device. A receiving device receives a datagram from a transmitting device, decodes an address field of the datagram to detect a number of bytes of data included in a data frame of the datagram based on a value of at least one bit in the address field, and decodes the data frame to recover the detected number of bytes of data.

  • Patent number: 10521143
Abstract: Techniques are provided for providing a storage abstraction layer for a composite aggregate architecture. A storage abstraction layer is utilized as an indirection layer between a file system and a storage environment. The storage abstraction layer obtains characteristic of a plurality of storage providers that provide access to heterogeneous types of storage of the storage environment (e.g., solid state storage, high availability storage, object storage, hard disk drive storage, etc.). The storage abstraction layer generates storage bins to manage storage of each storage provider. The storage abstraction layer generates a storage aggregate from the heterogeneous types of storage as a single storage container. The storage aggregate is exposed to the file system as the single storage container that abstracts away from the file system the management and physical storage details of data of the storage aggregate.

  • Patent number: 10523375
Abstract: A multi-SIM wireless device checks whether each of the (e.g., two) SIMs has received sub-frames in successive intervals prior to a current interval. If such a condition is satisfied by all the SIMs, the wireless device allocates several successive (transmit) intervals to a first SIM before allocating next successive (transmit) intervals to another SIM. If such a condition is not satisfied, the sub-intervals may be allocated according to any other approach (i.e., not constrained by the requirement of successive sets of transmit intervals to the two SIMs) as suited for the specific situation. The allocated sub-frame intervals are used to send the acknowledgements of the previously received sub-frames.

  • Publication number: 20190379331
Abstract: A circuit includes a comparator to compare an analog signal to a ramp signal to generate a pulse width modulated output signal and a driver to generate control signals for a plurality of power transistors. A pulse blanking circuit receives the pulse width modulated output signal. For each pulse of the pulse width modulated output signal, the pulse blanking circuit, responsive to a width of the pulse being greater than a threshold, passes the pulse to the driver. Responsive to the width of the pulse being less than the threshold, the pulse blanking circuit prevents the pulse from being passed to the driver.
