  • Publication number: 20200110868
Abstract: To increase the effectiveness of push authentication, a push authentication can be augmented with another authentication factor. A push authentication can be augmented with the “what you know” factor, effectively merging the “what you know” factor into the “what you have” factor. Using a collection of “what you know” factor queries (e.g., knowledge-based questions), an authentication server can select a subset of the “what you know” factor queries and incorporate the selected one or more factor queries into a message that conveys the push authentication notification.

  • Patent number: 10593214
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for classifying notice to airmen (NOTAM) alerts to a pilot of an aircraft. First, bundled NOTAMs are received during the flight planning process for the aircraft. A domain rules set for a filter engine on board the aircraft is created that prioritizes the bundled NOTAMs based on their criticality. The domain rules set is updated with weather data and day/night visibility analysis. The prioritized critical NOTAMs are stored on board in an electronic database and retrieved during the relevant phase of the flight path of the aircraft. The NOTAM messages are then displayed to the pilot on a graphical display device on board the aircraft.

  • Publication number: 20200059461
Abstract: A secure protocol has been developed that reduces the number of transactions associated with multifactor authentication (MFA) systems. An identity provider determines authentication factors which satisfy an application assurance level and constructs a credential collection file with input elements corresponding to the determined factors. The identity provider communicates the file to a client for collection of corresponding credentials. After submission of credential data, the collected set of credentials or credential data (“MFA credential set”) is returned to the identity provider for verification. The identity provider does not redirect to the client for additional transactions until after verifying the MFA credential set. In addition to reducing MFA communication overhead for a client, the credential collection file is based on a structure or schema that can be edited to adapt to changes in assurance level and authentication mechanisms.

  • Patent number: 10558676
Abstract: One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for searching across multiple user interfaces are provided. For example, a search query may be received from a user of a computing environment. A set of user interfaces, hosted by the computing environment, may be identified (e.g., mobile apps of a mobile operating system, browser tabs of a web browser, etc.). Content within the set of user interfaces may be queried using the search query to identify search results of the search query (e.g., webpages, social network posts, emails, or other content matching the search query). In an example, cached content of the user interfaces (e.g., recently accessed emails cached within a local content buffer cache by the web browser) may be searched using the search query for efficient querying of relevant content, such as through local or offline querying. The search results may be provided to the user.

  • Patent number: 10539996
Abstract: The disclosure relates to minimizing power consumption of a WiFi system-on-chip (SOC) during idle periods. The disclosed architecture includes memory banks for the WiFi SoC's embedded processor that can be independently powered on/off and a Memory Management Unit (MMU) to translate virtual addresses to physical addresses and generate exceptions to process accesses to virtual addresses without a corresponding physical address. The architecture can implement a demand paging scheme whereby a MMU fault from an access to code/data not within the embedded memory causes the processor to fetch the code/data from an off-chip secondary memory. To minimize page faults, the architecture stores WiFi client code/data within the embedded processor's memory that is repeatedly accessed with a short periodicity or where there is an intolerance for delays of accessing the code/data.

  • Patent number: 10482050
Abstract: Link role determination in a dual-mode Peripheral Component Interconnect express (PCIe) device is disclosed. In this regard, determining a link role for a dual-mode PCIe device involves configuring the dual-mode PCIe device to operate in a root complex (RC) mode or an endpoint mode. The dual-mode PCIe device first performs a configuration and initiation sequence on a wire-based PCIe link in the RC mode. If the configuration and initiation sequence on the wire-based PCIe link is unsuccessful, then the dual-mode PCIe device invokes a random delay and switches to the endpoint mode at expiration of the random delay. By determining a link role of the dual-mode PCIe device based on the configuration and initiation sequence, it is possible to configure dynamically the dual-mode PCIe device to operate in the RC mode or the endpoint mode, thus allowing flexible configuration of the dual-mode PCIe device based on various application scenarios.

  • Publication number: 20190332230
Abstract: Systems for dynamically generating user interfaces. A method embodiment commences upon receiving one or more requests for a user interface view corresponding to a particular type of computing resource entity. A set of resource property templates are examined to identifying one or more resource properties that correspond to the particular type of computing resource entity. Processing is invoked to determine the then-current resource state(s) of the computing resource entity. Based on the then-current resource state(s) of the particular type of computing resource entity, user interface code is dynamically generated. The dynamically generated user interface code is used to render a user interface view on the requester's display. The rendered user interface view comprises one or more of the resource properties and at least one aspect of the dynamically-determined then-current resource state(s) that correspond to the one or more resource properties.

  • Publication number: 20190182147
Abstract: A method for multi-path packet scheduling in a wireless communication system comprises collecting of measurements of queue state information about buffers of a plurality of transmit nodes. A rate budget is calculated based on the collected measurements of queue state information. The rate budget comprises commanded bit rates and/or data volumes for each transmit node for a subsequent sampling period. Data representative for the rate budget is provided from the packet-flow controller node over a packet scheduling interface to a packet scheduler node. Packets to be sent to each of the plurality of transmit nodes in a subsequent sampling period are scheduled depending on the received rate budget.
