The base station (28) is further configured to communicate the precoding codebook bitmap decision so that the precoding codebook bitmap decision may be implemented by the wireless terminal (30). In example embodiments and modes the base station (28) sends the precoding codebook bitmap decision using a bitmap decision signal to a radio network controller (26).

    Abstract: There is provided a method, performed by a receiving node, for generating composite acknowledgement information for a Hybrid Automatic Repeat Request, HARQ, process. The composite acknowledgement information is generated in response to transport blocks received from a transmitting node. The method comprises the step (301) of providing, for each transport block, a positive acknowledgement/negative acknowledgement, ACK/NAK, indication for each of a plurality of transmissions of the transport block to define a respective set of ACK/NAK indications. The method also comprises the step (302) of generating the composite acknowledgement information based on the respective sets of ACK/NAK indications for the transport blocks over the plurality of transmissions. In this way, by considering respective sets of ACK/NACK indications over a plurality of transmissions, it is possible to generate an appropriate composite acknowledgment.

    Abstract: A method and a controlling node (700) of a cellular network, to control radio communication over a radio link used by a User Equipment, UE, to communicate radio signals with multiple radio nodes (702) serving a combined cell. The controlling node (700) receives from the UE a Channel Quality Indicator, CQI, that has been determined by the UE based on a common pilot signal transmitted by the multiple radio nodes. When it is detected that the received CQI has been determined by the UE during a time interval when one or more node-specific pilot signals were also transmitted individually by one or more of the multiple radio nodes in the combined cell, the controlling node (700) changes the received CQI to compensate for interference caused by the one or more node-specific pilot signals on the common pilot signal when received by the UE. The changed CQI is then used for evaluating the radio link.
