    Abstract: The detecting unit detects a disconnection of communications that have been established with a display apparatus. When the disconnection of the communications is detected, the message generating unit generates a confirmation message that confirms whether the communications should be reestablished. The transmitting unit transmits the confirmation message to the display apparatus. The receiving unit receives a reply message that indicates whether the communications should be reestablished from the display apparatus. The main power supply controlling unit shuts down the main power supply when the reply message indicates that the communications should not be reestablished, or when no reply message is received.

    Abstract: A switching equipment stores identification information of communication established with respect to an infrastructure network system in a storage unit, and when an access request is received from a terminal device, the switching equipment adds the stored identification information to the access request and transfers the access request to a 1× Radius server. When the terminal device having requested the access is authenticated, the 1× Radius server notifies a PANA PAA of address information of the terminal device associated with the identification information added to the access request. The PANA PAA approves the same network access as the switching equipment with respect to the terminal device in the received address information.

    Abstract: When an authentication identifier is contained in a first message required for receiving authentication with respect to IEEE 802.1x from a terminal device, the authentication is assumed to be successful and then a data link is established with the terminal device, and a filtering unit is set so as to pass a first packet which should be passed for receiving authentication with respect to a higher layer protocol from among packets sent from the terminal device through the data link and to block a second packet different from the first packet. If a second message required for receiving authentication with respect to the higher layer protocol from the terminal device is received through the filtering unit, the authentication with respect to the higher layer protocol is performed. When the authentication is successful, the filtering unit is set so as to pass the second packet.
