Publication number: 20200237155Abstract: A barbeque grill scraper and related methods of use that utilize a scraping end formed of a heat-responsive material to remove char and other debris from the grilling surface. The grill scraper includes a conformable scraping edge formed of the heat-responsive material. As the conformable scraping edge is drawn back and forth along the heated grilling surface, a combination of pressure applied by a user as well as the heat of the grill surface results in the formation of individual grooves along the conformable scraping edge, wherein each groove is formed to match an upper profile of the grilling surface. Over time, the grooves fully conform to the upper profile of the grilling surface such that an entire cooking surface can be scraped clean of char and debris.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 13, 2020Publication date: July 30, 2020Inventors: Nathan A. Thompson, Joshua J. Thompson, Jason S. Thompson

Patent number: 10672091Abstract: The technology provides for utilizing and displaying physician analytics. For example, a result metric for a physician is based on a value metric, a quality metric, and/or a quantity metric. The value metric, quality metric, and/or quantity metric may all be received from different sources. The result metric may be displayed on a chart, or the result metric may be utilized for determining referral recommendations for a physician. The result metric may be displayed as a physician indicator on the chart. An insight for the physician may also be determined from the result metric. The insight may be based on the location of the physician indicator on the chart, and the insight may be represented by the color or other visual attribute of the physician indicator. For referral recommendations, the result metric may be used to adjust the rank of a physician in a referral search result.Type: GrantFiled: June 26, 2018Date of Patent: June 2, 2020Assignee: The Advisory Board CompanyInventors: Marc Lachs, Cheng Zhou, Nathan Thompson

Publication number: 20190311558Abstract: A non-integrated monitoring device and method for monitoring a subject vehicle includes monitoring, via a non-integrated sensor, a physical parameter being emitted from the subject vehicle. The physical parameter being emitted from the subject vehicle is analyzed to determine a dynamic signature for the subject vehicle. A baseline signature for the subject vehicle is obtained, and compared to the dynamic signature for the subject vehicle. Occurrence of a fault in a subsystem of the subject vehicle is detected based upon the comparing of the baseline signature for the subject vehicle and the dynamic signature for the subject vehicle, and the occurrence of the fault is communicated to an operator of the subject vehicle.Type: ApplicationFiled: April 10, 2018Publication date: October 10, 2019Applicant: GM Global Technology Operations LLCInventors: Anil Bika, Azeem Sarwar, Nathan Thompson, Jason Prince, James J. Kelly, III, Steven J. Samolinski

Publication number: 20190110642Abstract: A grilling tool is described herein that has a replaceable tip, and can be used with a variety of other attachments. The grilling tool can be made of a heat-conformable material such that during use grooves are formed in the replaceable tip that correspond to a grilling surface on which it is used. Once the grooves are too deep or the tip is fully used, the tip can be replaced.Type: ApplicationFiled: October 16, 2018Publication date: April 18, 2019Inventors: Joshua Thompson, Nathan Thompson, Jason Thompson, Andrew N.
