    Abstract: The embodiments disclose a method and apparatus for automatic gain control. The apparatus comprises a first gain controlled element, a second gain controlled element, a first gain control device, a second gain control device and a first simulator. The first gain controlled element and the second gain controlled element each has a signal input, a gain control input and a signal output. The first gain controlled element and the second gain controlled element are coupled in series and one or more power elements coupled between the first gain controlled element and the second gain controlled element. The signal input of the first gain controlled element constitutes an input of the automatic gain control apparatus. The first gain control device has a pre-detection input which is coupled to the signal input of the first gain controlled element and an output which drives the gain control input of the first gain controlled element.

    Abstract: A brushless direct current electric motor includes a first sub-motor and a second sub-motor. The first sub-motor and the second sub-motor share a common rotor, and each comprises an independent stator. The stators of each sub-motor comprises a plurality of teeth and a plurality of windings. The teeth of the first sub-motor and the teeth of the second sub-motor are interleavingly arranged in a circumferential direction or arranged side by side in an axial direction. The first sub-motor and the second sub-motor are configured to cooperatively work as a single electric motor to output a normal power. When one of the sub-motors breaks down, the other sub-motor can be operated independently to enhance reliability and safety of the brushless direct current electric motor.

    Abstract: Adaptive low complexity minimum mean square error (MMSE) channel estimator for OFDM systems operating over mobile channel. Complexity of the estimator is reduced by partitioning sub-carriers into windows where, window size is optimized by considering channel model mismatch error (MME). Three types of adaptive windowed MMSE (W-MMSE) estimators include: A first type, a simplified delay profile applied as channel reference model, and optimum window size adaptive to the estimated signal-to-noise ratio. A second type, a group of candidate channel reference models are considered. The receiver roughly estimates and selects current reference model from candidate group, then adapts optimum window size based on the estimated SNR and selected channel model. A third type, the current channel statistics are finely estimated and window size is iteratively optimized at receiver.

The malware analysis system collects threat information on client computers and sends the threat information to a back-end analysis component for automated analysis. The back-end analysis component analyzes the threat information by comparing the threat information to information about known threats. The system builds a signature for identifying the threat family and a mitigation script for neutralizing the threat. The system sends the signature and mitigation data to client computers, which use the information to mitigate the threat. Thus, the malware analysis system detects and mitigates threats more quickly than previous systems by reducing the burden on technicians to manually create environments for reproducing the threats and manually analyze the threat behavior.

Selected stator teeth have grooves in a face thereof dividing those teeth into a plurality of stator poles. The motor may be used to drive a fuel pump for an internal combustion engine, typically for a vehicle.
