  • Patent number: 11682272
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for a pedestrian crossing warning system that may use multi-modal technology to determine attributes of a person and provide a warning to the person in response to a calculated risk level to effect a reduction of the risk level. The system may utilize sensors to receive data indicative of a trajectory of a person external to the vehicle. Specific attributes of the person such as age or walking aids may be determined. Based on the trajectory data and the specific attributes, a risk level may be determined by the system using a machine learning model. • Publication number: 20230185718
Abstract: Methods and apparatus relating to de-prioritizing speculative code lines in on-chip caches are described. In an embodiment, logic circuitry determines whether a storage structure includes a reference to a code miss request prior to transmission of the code miss request to a shared cache. The logic circuitry causes de-prioritization of a code line, corresponding to the code miss request, in the shared cache in response to an absence of the reference in the storage structure. Other embodiments are also disclosed and claimed.

  • Patent number: 11657263
Abstract: Systems and methods for determining the gaze direction of a subject and projecting this gaze direction onto specific regions of an arbitrary three-dimensional geometry. In an exemplary embodiment, gaze direction may be determined by a regression-based machine learning model. The determined gaze direction is then projected onto a three-dimensional map or set of surfaces that may represent any desired object or system. Maps may represent any three-dimensional layout or geometry, whether actual or virtual. Gaze vectors can thus be used to determine the object of gaze within any environment. Systems can also readily and efficiently adapt for use in different environments by retrieving a different set of surfaces or regions for each environment.

  • Patent number: 11657535
Abstract: Systems and methods for automatic camera calibration without using a robotic actuator or similar hardware. An electronic display screen projects an image of a simulated three-dimensional calibration pattern, such as a checkerboard, oriented in a particular pose. The camera captures an image of the calibration pattern that is displayed on the screen, and this image together with the transform of the simulated three-dimensional calibration pattern are used to calibrate the camera. Multiple different pictures of different poses are employed to determine the optimal set of poses that produces the lowest reprojection error. To aid in selecting different poses, i.e., spatial positions and orientations of the simulated three-dimensional calibration pattern, poses may be selected from only that portion of the camera's field of view which is expected to be typically used in operation of the camera.

  • Publication number: 20230153761
Abstract: Disclosed are embodiments for providing a domain-specific visualization of message content. Unclassified messages are received for a sender and a real-time classifier is used to assign categories to the messages. User interactions with email can then be used to generate a ranked list of domain-specific senders. This ranked list of senders and classified emails can then be used to provide a domain-specific view to a user. Further features (e.g., aggregated content pages by sender, dynamic call-to-action buttons, message previews etc.) can then be built on top of the ranked senders and messages.

  • Publication number: 20230149726
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed for monitoring a patient for the occurrence of a cardiac arrhythmia. A computing system generates sample probability values by applying a machine learning model to sample patient data. The machine learning model determines a respective probability value that indicates a probability that the cardiac arrhythmia occurred during each respective temporal window. The computing system outputs a user interface comprising graphical data based on the sample probability values and receives, via the user interface, an indication of user input to select a probability threshold for a patient. The computing system receives patient data for the patient and applies the machine learning model to the patient data to determine a current probability value. In response to the determination that the current probability exceeds the probability threshold for the patient, the computing system generates an alert indicating the patient has likely experienced the occurrence of the cardiac arrhythmia.
