  • Patent number: 7028102
Abstract: A presentation of a selected document, stored at a node of a network, is accomplished by means of a system essentially comprising a handheld device, a communication device for a presentation unit and a device that handles presentation requests. By operating the handheld device, a user is able to get a presentation unit specification from said communication device. This specification is then sent, together with an address to a selected document, to a device handling presentation requests. In this device the selected document is then converted to a format suitable for the presentation unit of said communication device, where the converted document is presented. The system could be using WAP-technology for sending information from the handheld device to the device that handles presentation requests and for accessing information on the Internet. Further the system could, for example, be using Bluetooth or IrDA for the communication between the handheld device and said communication device.

  • Publication number: 20050222404
Abstract: The present invention relates to a method of isolating a desired nucleic acid from a biological solution, which method comprises to selectively precipitate the desired nucleic acid by adding a polycationic precipitating agent to the solution and allowing it to form a complex with said nucleic acid, wherein the precipitating agent is a highly charged linear polymer that comprises quaternary amino groups. The polycationic precipitating agent is preferably added in such an amount that the charge ratio [+]/[?] between polycationic precipitating agent and nucleic acid is ?0.5, preferably ?0.9 and most preferably ?1 during the precipitation, and in the presence of a salt concentration ensuring the quantitative specific precipitation of the nucleic acid/polycation complex.

  • Patent number: 6571489
Abstract: For a single chamber air drier in a compressed air system on a vehicle the volume of dry regeneration air required to regenerate a desiccant in the air drier has to be determined. This can be accomplished in that data regarding system pressure, outdoor temperature and supplied air volume are continuously provided to a compute, which in relation to these parameters controls the supply of regeneration air to the air drier.
