    Abstract: Systems and methods for perceptual image preview are described. In one aspect, a naive preview image is generated by downsampling a larger image. Perceptual features of the larger image are then detected. Information associated with the detected perceptual features is then incorporated into the naive preview image to create a perceptual preview image. Since the perceptual preview image incorporates information associated with the detected perceptual features, a viewer of the perceptual preview image will be more likely to detect the presence or absence of such perceptual features in the larger image.

    Abstract: A method for forming semiconductor packages is disclosed. The method involves providing a support substrate and forming at least one conductive layer thereon. The method also includes coupling the at least one conductive layer to a support face of a film substrate for securing the at least one conductive layer to the support face and removing the support substrate from the at least one conductive layer. The at least one interconnector is adhered to the film substrate for forming an interposer. The method further involves bonding a integrated circuit chip to the at least one conductive layer of the interposer and disposing a compound over the support face to thereby encapsulate the integrated circuit chip and the least one conductive layer for forming an encapsulated package therefrom. Portions of the at least one conductive layer is then exposed by removing the film substrate from the encapsulated package.

    Abstract: A dual lumen aspiration catheter system with an aspiration catheter, a hub and a flexible strain relief, and a suction assembly. The aspiration catheter includes multiple successively connected flexible tubular components each increasing in relative flexibility in the distal direction, the most proximal tubular component connectingly extending from the hub and through the flexible strain relief. The tubular components of the aspiration catheter include, in order proximally to distally, a composite tube, an intermediate tube, a dual lumen tube, and a flexible tip tube. The dual lumen tube includes eccentrically co-located large and small tubular portions forming eccentrically co-located large and small lumens to provide a minimum cross section. The distal end of the dual lumen tube includes a convex beveled edge. The convex beveled edge and the flexible tip tube singly or jointly inflict minimal traumatic contact with a vessel wall when urged along a tortuous vascular path.

The security system provides rules that identify conditions and routing instructions that are to be applied to intelligence information. A security organization may create and modify rules to ensure the appropriate routing of intelligence information in a timely manner. Regardless of the form or source of intelligence information, the security system analyzes the intelligence information to determine whether any conditions of the rules are satisfied. When a condition of a rule is satisfied, the security system sends a notification of the intelligence information in accordance with the routing instructions for that rule. In this way, intelligence information can be automatically and quickly routed to the appropriate security personnel for further processing.

The steering apparatus further includes a rudder which has an actuator and a control means for receiving each of the helm signals and which provides rudder signals to the actuator to steer the rudder in accordance with movement of the steering devices of the helm apparatuses. The control means is connected to the communication bus. Each of the rudder signals are derived from each of the helm signals from one of the helm apparatuses which is steered fastest when a plurality of the helm apparatuses is simultaneously steered.

A primary light emitted by the LED chip is reflected to the optical spectrum conversion layer by the reflecting face to undergo light excitation for producing a secondary light. The primary light and the secondary light are combined to generate a mixed light. A lens can be placed in the travel direction of the mixed light to change the distribution of the mixed light.

    Abstract: A bias circuit includes a digital to analog converter (D2A) generating an output representing a voltage level for tuning an analog signal. The D2A is coupled to a primary register frame that is one of a plurality of register frames forming a data chain. The plurality of register frames are serially linked and data within the data chain is shifted among the plurality of register frames. Through a time domain multiplexing scheme, the D2A can be shared by control knobs of the equalization circuit. The bias circuit includes a decoder also coupled to the primary register frame. An output enable logic module is also included. The output enable logic module determines when the primary register has a complete data set as the data within the data chain is shifting according to the clock period. A method for adjusting a signal through a bias circuit is also provided.
