  • Patent number: 10601841
Abstract: An internet service provider (ISP) is configured to analyze data sent by a user to determine a subscriber account associated with the data and a user associated with the data. A database is then queried to determine the number of users of the subscriber account, with a number above a threshold indicating a likely theft of service. This automatic process is accompanied by automated messaging to the user with information as to the measures taken and remedial options. The messaging may be different dependent on whether the user is deemed to be an authorized user having subscriber account administration rights.

  • Patent number: 10602557
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are disclosed for device discovery, pairing, and transmission of audio and video media, using two or more communication paths between a media sender/source node and a media receiver/sink node. In one example of the disclosed technology, a method performed with a sink node adapted to receive data via a peer-to-peer communication and a different, second communication path, includes selecting at least a portion of a second communication path to the sink node, determining whether the second communication path is secure, and, if the second communication path is determined to be secure, then accepting connections via the second communication path.

  • Publication number: 20200092881
Abstract: The invention relates to improve use of resource units in MU transmissions of an 802.1 1ax network. An un-associated station may receive data frames over a downlink resource unit, RU, assigned to an AID, e.g. 2045, reserved for stations not associated with the AP, The AP may use a downlink RU sharing an allocation scheme feature of an uplink RU previously used by the un-associated station. The AP may also aggregated data frames addressed to several stations within the same downlink RU, for instance to acknowledge frames previously received from the stations. The aggregated data frames may signal which respective response RUs the addressee stations should use for a next multi-user uplink transmission to respond to the AP. These approaches particularly applies to the exchange of management frames for instance to speed up the association procedure of un-associated stations.

  • Patent number: 10592659
Abstract: After first installation of an application program on a computing device, the computing devices monitors a behavior of the application program for a period of time and then builds a behavior profile of the application program from the behavior. After the period of time has elapsed, such as specified period of time, the computing device may prevent the application program from deviating from the behavior profile. After the period of time has elapsed, such as when an update or patch to the application program has been applied or installed, the computing device may continue to monitor the behavior of the application program, and in response to determining that the behavior of the application program after the period of time deviates from the behavior profile, perform an action with respect to the application program.

  • Patent number: 10583080
Abstract: The present invention is directed to treatments for a disease or condition, in a subject in need thereof, that provide alternatives to treatment by injection that give, relative to treatment by injection, improved treatment outcomes, 100% treatment compliance, reduced side effects, and rapid establishment and/or termination of substantial steady-state drug delivery. The method includes providing continuous delivery of a drug from an implanted osmotic delivery device, wherein substantial steady-state delivery of the drug at therapeutic concentrations is achieved within about 7 days after implantation of the osmotic delivery device in the subject and the substantial steady-state delivery of the drug from the osmotic delivery device is continuous over a period of at least about 3 months. In one embodiment, the present invention is directed to treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus using insulinotrophic peptides. In embodiments, a subject has a baseline HbA1c % of greater than 6.5% or 10.0%.

  • Publication number: 20200073353
Abstract: A system and method that remotely monitors and controls proppant usage in a fracturing operation. The system and method allow operators to wirelessly monitor and control proppant storage units from inside a datavan through sensors and control mechanisms that interface with fracturing software to schedule the flow of the proppant. A sensor monitors the weight, container level, or volume of the proppant being used to keep the induced hydraulic fracture open. A serial to Ethernet converter converts this information and sends it wirelessly to a datavan. A user at the datavan controls the proppant usage through a display in the datavan of the storage units with the appropriate weight. The container monitoring software links with the fracturing software, providing real-time information about proppant usage so that the user can properly schedule proppant flow to the well through valves, conveyor belts, and other control mechanisms.

  • Patent number: 10575726
Abstract: Objects of interest which project beyond the fovea are poorly resolved and lack color information, requiring movement of the eyes in order to obtain a comprehensive image and perception of the surrounding world. Eye movements emanate from different areas of the brain which can be affected by disease and or injury. As such, different neurological disorders will affect a myriad of eye movements in a variety of different ways. An automated system and method, capable of detecting, analyzing and summarizing a person's eye movements is used to detect (diagnose) (either before or after symptoms of said neurological disease are apparent), confirm a prior diagnosis, and/or to monitor the treatment effectiveness for a variety of neurological diseases, neurological movement disorders and potential brain injuries.
