  • Patent number: 9493291
Abstract: A packaged product assembly is provided. The packaged product assembly may include a packet received in a dispensing container. The packet may be a blister packet including units of a product received in sealed cavities. The dispensing container may include a top casing and a bottom casing. The upper casing may be pivotably connected to the lower casing such that the upper casing is moveable between a closed position in which access to the packet is substantially blocked, and an open position in which access to the packet is provided. The packet may be supported by a shoulder defined at an inner surface of sidewalls of the lower casing such that a receptacle is formed between the packet and a major wall of the lower casing. A unit of the product released from one of the sealed cavities may be received in the receptacle and dispensed via a dispensing aperture.

  • Patent number: 9483312
Abstract: A system and computer program product, operable by a service registry in a service orientated architecture system, for providing a service within the system. A service request is received from a service requester in the system. The status of the service is checked as registered in the service registry. In response to the service not having a registered service endpoint or a property of the service falling below a defined threshold, a request is sent to service providers or subsequent service registries to provide a new service and according to the defined threshold. In response to a service provider providing the new service according to the defined standard, the service registry is updated with the new service and responding to the service requester that the service is available. The embodiments allow both direct interaction between the requester and provider or indirect interaction via a service management layer.

  • Publication number: 20160297518
Abstract: A method of assembling a rotor blade includes determining first spanwise and chordwise moments of a first component of the blade and comparing the first spanwise and chordwise moments to respective target first spanwise and chordwise moments. The first spanwise and/or chordwise moment(s) of the first component is/are adjusted based upon corresponding results of the comparison to provide balancing of the first component. Second spanwise and chordwise moments of a second component of the blade are determined and compared to respective target second spanwise and chordwise moments. The second spanwise and/or chordwise moment(s) of the second component is/are adjusted based upon corresponding results of the comparison to provide balancing of the second component. The balanced first and second components are assembled to each other so that target spanwise and chordwise moments of the blade are met.

  • Patent number: 9363009
Abstract: Concepts and technologies disclosed herein for routing information through a blocking splitter-combiner switching network. A control system can execute a control module and communicates with one or more satellites. The control module can generate and transmit control data for controlling traffic or other communication over a channelizer at a satellite. A satellite network operator can generate a cross-connection request that is processed by the satellite control at a ground control station or a processor on the satellite. The cross-connection requests a cross-connection for transmitting satellite user information within or across satellite beams. The control system can attempt to identify an output channel. If the output channel is found, the connection can be established. If the output channel is not found, the control system can execute various operations to partially or fully preempt other communications to accommodate a higher priority connection request.
