  • Publication number: 20200019952
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for pressure sensitive device casing to cause device functionality. A computing device, such as a mobile smart phone, may include one or more pressure sensor devices mounted within, surrounding, or nearby structural components of the computing device, such as a device casing. A user may apply pressure input to the structure of the computing device, for example, through touch and force of touch to the device, where the pressure sensor may detect a presence and location of the input. The computing device may include a transaction processing application, where the input may be received during use of the application. The pressure of the input may further define the input for the application. For example, an input with a first pressure may cause a first process to be initiated, while a second pressure may cause a second process to be initiated.

  • Publication number: 20200005320
Abstract: Systems and methods for transaction management include receiving, from a user device associated with a user, a transaction request and receiving, through a network in a token form, user information associated with the user while the user is accessing transaction information from the user device. The user information comprises data associated with an action by user or a biometric of the user captured by the user device. Based on data associated with the transaction request, a delay in processing the transaction request due to a transaction rule is determined, and then based on the user information, a user interaction indicator associated with the transaction is determined. A transaction management action associated with the transaction is performed based on the user interaction indicator.

  • Publication number: 20200004611
Abstract: Cached data is obtained from a device. The cached data includes data saved on the device in response to electronic searches or electronic messaging performed by a user using the device. A determination is made, at least in part via the cached data, regarding an intended use context associated with the electronic searches or the electronic messaging. Using the intended use context, a confidence level is determined. In response to the determined confidence level meeting or exceeding a predefined threshold, a transaction involving the user is automatically executed, or an electronic communication is automatically sent on behalf of the user.

  • Publication number: 20190394193
Abstract: Systems and methods for a authenticating a user on an alien electronic device is described. The system may include a first device associated with a first user and a second device associated with a second user. The first device may include a non-transitory memory and one or more hardware processors coupled to the non-transitory memory and configured to read instructions from the non-transitory memory to cause the first device to perform operations that include receiving from the second user, an identification data of the second user, determining that the identification data of the second user does not correspond to the first device, searching for the second device associated with the identification data of the second user, receiving an indication from the second device confirming that the identification data of the second user is associated with the second device, and initiating data communication between the first device and the second device.

  • Publication number: 20190215722
Abstract: In response to detecting, at the first time period, that the available amount of the first resource on the computing device is below the first threshold level, the computer system switches the computing device to a first low resource mode, wherein the switching the computing device to the first low resource mode includes intercepting a first data intended to be transmitted to the computing device, the first data corresponding to a first set of one or more applications on the computing device. In response to detecting, at a second time period that is after the first time period, that the available amount of the first resource on the computing device meets or exceeds the first threshold level, the computer system switches the computing device back to a normal operating mode.

  • Publication number: 20190199793
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a network cache of device input for redundancy during device inoperability. A device may detect that the device is in danger of failure, for example, if a battery is low on the device, the device is damaged, or the device may lose network connectivity. On detection of such a condition, the device may request that a server that performs electronic transaction processing establish or trigger a mode that allows for caching of transaction data as input for the transaction data is entered to a device, which may be done by sending signaling to the server indicating the condition that affects the device's operability. The server may then cache input for the transaction data. If the device fails prior to approving and completing electronic transaction processing, the server may use the cached data to generate a digital ledger for another entity.

  • Publication number: 20190197594
Abstract: A method includes receiving, by a payment provide server of a payment provider from a point-of-sale (POS) device associated with a first merchant at a merchant location, a checkout request for a first user to purchase one or more items sold by the first merchant. The method further includes accessing an account of the first user with the payment provider based on authentication information included in the checkout request and identifying a previously stored payment token that is associated with the account of the first user, the previously stored payment token indicating one or more additional items for potential purchase. Further, the method includes in response to the identifying, transmitting instructions to the POS device that cause the POS device to display a request for the first user to add at least one of the one or more additional items for potential purchase for checkout at the merchant location.

  • Publication number: 20180047016
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a preloaded digital wallet token for networkless transaction processing. A user may utilize a communication device while shopping at physical merchant locations, such as retail storefronts, where the communication device may provide transaction processing services through a mobile application executing on the communication device. The communication device may provide transaction processing services through the application in an offline environment by utilizing a preloaded digital token having encrypted data, for example, where the communication device loses network connectivity. The encrypted data may include information necessary to resolve transaction processing by a merchant device receiving the token from the communication device. Moreover, the encrypted data may include limitations on use of the token for transaction processing, such as location limitations and/or transaction amount or time limits.

  • Publication number: 20170372282
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for digital image tagging for split transaction processing. A user may utilize a communication device to capture one or more images of the user and other users located with the user, which may be posted to an image sharing platform, such as a social network. The user may also provide posts identifying the other users with the user. Utilizing the posted data, a service provider may determine that other users are with the user at the time and/or location of the posted data. The service provider may determine a transaction that the user processed, and may determine other users splitting or involved in the transaction based on the posted data. Thus, the service provider may request that the other users provide the required reimbursement to the user that processed the transaction based on the posted data.

  • Publication number: 20170337652
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for a locally broadcasted token to cause image masking of user likeness. A first user may establish a masking request for images taken by other users to conceal the first user's image or likeness in those images. The masking request may correspond to a token, such as a data package, that includes a request to mask the first user in the images, an image of the first user used to perform facial recognition to identify the user in the images, and a masking image to mask the user in the images. Additionally, the token may include an identifier used to contact the first user or a payment option to pay the first user to unmask the first user in the images. The token may be broadcast over an area around the first user to mask the first user in images on receiving devices.

  • Publication number: 20170316418
Abstract: There are provided systems and methods for leased device operations to a nearby device on detection of device inoperability. A device may detect that the device is in danger of failure, for example, if a battery is low on the device, the device is damaged, or the device runs out of available memory for storage and/or application execution. On detection of such a condition, the device may determine current processes a user is currently utilizing. The device may the cause another device to be located at or nearby the device, where the other device may be capable of continuing the processes utilized by the user. The device may then cause a token to be generated that identifies the processes and data for the processes. The token may be communicated to the other device so that on failure of the original device, the user may continue the processes.
