  • Patent number: 10318406
Abstract: Verifying architectural compliance of a processor core using processor-sparing functions. A simulation of a model for a register-transfer level design of the processor core is performed. A first state of the model is dumped, when no error exists. An error is injected in the model. A second state of the model is dumped, after the injected error is detected in the simulation. Upon dumping the second state, the model is reset and initialized with the first state. State information of the second state is loaded in the reset and initialized model.

  • Patent number: 10309874
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to method and device for determining performance of an intermittently used refrigerator. Performance measuring device receives time stamped temperature data from temperature sensor configured in the intermittently used refrigerator. The received time stamped temperature data is used to determine values for each of one or more predefined parameters associated with the intermittently used refrigerator. The performance measuring device determines temperature variation of the intermittently used refrigerator at predefined time intervals. Based on the determined temperature variation, additional service windows in a site comprising the intermittently used refrigerator are identified i.e. the intensity of sales in the site are identified. The determined values of each of the one or more predefined parameters and the determined temperature variation, helps in determining the performance of intermittently used refrigerator.

  • Patent number: 10229274
Abstract: The disclosed principles describe systems and methods for assessing the security posture of a target device, wherein the assessment is performed by a scanning computer in communication with the target device via a communication network. By employing a system or method in accordance with the disclosed principles, distinct advantages are achieved. Specifically, conducting such a remote scan allows for the scanner computer to perform a remote scan of the remote device without installing client software to the remote device. Thus, the disclosed principles reduce the need for internal IT resources to manage the deployment and updates of client software on the target device. Also, conducting a remote scan according to the disclosed principles allows for the remote scan to be performed even if the scanner computer and remote device run different operating systems.

  • Patent number: 10216552
Abstract: Embodiments include a method for verifying a counter design within a tolerance window within which a race condition occurs between a context event and a design event. The method includes receiving a plurality of events within the counter design, the plurality of events including the context event and the design event. The method also includes dynamically determining the tolerance window around the context event by setting a first portion of the tolerance window to precede an occurrence of the context event and by setting a second portion of the tolerance window to follow the context event. Additionally, the method includes performing a verification of whether the design event is within the first portion of the tolerance window or the second portion of the tolerance window.

  • Publication number: 20180285204
Abstract: An information management cell health monitoring system is provided herein that can monitor one or more information management systems, identify any performance issues that are occurring within an information management system, and automatically, or in response to a user input, transmit an instruction to the information management system to execute a workflow to resolve the performance issue(s). For example, the information management cell health monitoring system receives operational data, secondary copy policies, and/or similar data from an information management cells via a network. The information management cell health monitoring system analyzes the received information to identify any issues. If an issue is detected, the information management cell health monitoring system retrieves workflows and determines whether any of the workflows can be used to resolve the detected issue.
