    Abstract: A method and apparatus for transmitting uplink control information (UCI) for Long Term Evolution-Advanced (LTE-A) using carrier aggregation is disclosed. Methods for UCI transmission in the uplink control channel, uplink shared channel or uplink data channel are disclosed. The methods include transmitting channel quality indicators (CQI), precoding matrix indicators (PMI), rank indicators (RI), hybrid automatic repeat request (HARQ) acknowledgement/non-acknowledgement (ACK/NACK), channel status reports (CQI/PMI/RI), source routing (SR) and sounding reference signals (SRS). In addition, methods for providing flexible configuration in signaling UCI, efficient resource utilization, and support for high volume UCI overhead in LTE-A are disclosed.

    Abstract: A method and apparatus for home Node-B (HNB) mobility with a local IP access (LIPA) packet data network (PDN) connection are described. A target home node-B (HNB) may receive a handover request message from a source HNB to handover a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU). A path switch request may be transmitted to a local gateway (LGW) to change a downlink data path towards the target HNB in response to the handover request message. The LGW may act as a mobility management and local mobility anchor for the handover; and informing an HNB gateway (GW) about the handover so that the downlink data path for core network (CN) traffic is modified towards the target HNB.

An application identifier may be mapped to a 3GPP identifier. Further, a method and apparatus are described for performing client-server discovery.     Abstract: Flexibly configured containers consisting of resources within time-frequency blocks may be used to support multiple numerologies in new radio architectures. Uplink control may be defined in resources within a container, or in dedicated resources, by various nodes. Sounding reference signal resources may be dynamically configured for each numerology. The sequence length may be adapted, as well as the time domain location of symbols. Time, frequency, and orthogonal resources may be allocated via a downlink control channel or a radio resource control. Sounding reference signals may be pre-coded, and pre-coding weights may be based on a codebook or non-codebook approaches, e.g., via a radio resource control or a downlink RRC or DL control channel.
