  • Publication number: 20260128774
Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) is configured to receive configuration information from a network node for the alignment of one or more compressed channel state information (CSI) quantizers at the WTRU and the network node. The configuration information may indicate a plurality of CSI quantization settings and/or criteria for selecting from the plurality of CSI quantization settings. The WTRU may perform one or more CSI measurements on one or more reference signals. The WTRU may encode the one or more CSI measurements. The WTRU may select a CSI quantization setting of the plurality of quantization settings based on the criteria indicated in the configuration information. The WTRU may quantize the encoded one or more CSI measurements using the selected CSI quantization setting. The WTRU may send a feedback report comprising the quantized one or more CSI measurements and/or an indication of the selected CSI quantization setting to the network node.

  • Publication number: 20260113100
Abstract: Systems and methods for predictive wireless communication management. In some implementations, a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may establish communications with a network node via a first physical communication channel; and determine that a difference between measured characteristics of a reference signal and measured characteristics of a previous reference signal exceeds a reporting threshold. The WTRU may transmit, to the network node responsive to the determination, an identification of the measured characteristics of the reference signal; and may receive, from the network node via the first physical communication channel, an indication of predicted beam failure generated responsive to receipt of the identification of measured characteristics of the reference signal. The WTRU may reconfigure, responsive to receipt of the indication of predicted beam failure, communications with the network node to utilize a second physical communication channel.

Abstract: Method are disclosed for a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) including receiving configuration information including a plurality of access stratum (AS) configurations, where each AS configuration is associated with a quality of service (QoS) level specific to an ambient internet of things (AIoT) operation. The WTRU receives, on a Uu bearer from the base station, data for at least one AIoT device and based on the Uu bearer of the received data, the WTRU determines a select AS configuration with associated QoS level from the plurality of AS configurations. The WTRU transmits the received data to the AIoT device(s) using resource and transmission parameters of the select AS configuration with associated QoS level. Additional embodiments are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20260095846
Abstract: A WTRU operating in RRC connected mode in an AIOT cell, may receive a command from the cell triggering a transition to an inactive mode of operation, wherein the command may comprise a first RSRP bias to be used during evaluation of non-AIOT cells and a second RSRP bias to be used during evaluation of AIOT cells. The WTRU may measure RSRP values from one or more cells, and, based on determining that a measured cell is a non-AIOT cell or an AIOT cell, apply the first RSRP bias or the second RSRP bias. The WTRU may select, based on the biased cell measurement results, one cell from the one or more cells measured. The WTRU may send, to an application layer, based on selecting a cell which is a non-AIOT cell, an indication of the lack of support of AIOT operations in the selected cell.

  • Publication number: 20260095849
Abstract: In one or more systems, method, and/or apparatuses, a carrier wave (CW) node may be selected for ambient internet of things (AIoT) device communication. In one example, one or more apparatuses (e.g., the CW node itself or one or more other entities), may require configuration to establish and facilitate communication with the AIoT device(s). In one example, a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) may select one or more transmission CW node(s) based on measurements from one or more candidate CW node(s). • Publication number: 20260095880
Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive, from a server associated with a trained artificial intelligence/machine leaning (AI/ML) model, a first association information. The first association information may comprise a first set of positioning reference signal (PRS) configurations on which the AI/ML model has been trained. The WTRU may receive a request for inferences related to a location of the WTRU via the AI/ML model. The WTRU may send a request for a second association information which may comprise a second set of PRS configurations. The WTRU may determine, by comparing the first and the second association information, the consistency between the first and the second association information based on PRS configurations of the first set of PRS configurations overlapping with PRS configurations of the second set of PRS configurations. The WTRU may implement the trained AI/ML model to generate inferences related to the location of the WTRU.

The WTRU is configured to transmit, based on the set of symbols associated with the first nominal repetition, a second number of actual repetitions in symbols associated with the first nominal repetition. The second number of actual repetitions and the symbols used to transmit the second number of actual repetitions are based on an occurrence of an event during the set of symbols associated with the first nominal repetition and based on whether a channel occupancy is initiated by the WTRU or whether the channel occupancy is initiated by a network entity.

  • Publication number: 20260040358
Abstract: Methods and devices are disclosed contention resolution of Ambient Internet of Things (AIoT) devices. In one example, a wireless transmit receive unit (WTRU) receives, from a network, configuration information including a threshold number of devices to be queried, at least a first random ID size and a second random ID size. The WTRU selects a random ID size for an RA procedure based on a number of devices expected to respond to a query and a number of configured query occasions, and sends a paging message to one or more devices to be queried, indicating the selected random ID size.
