  • Publication number: 20240324013
Abstract: Methods and apparatuses are described herein for BWP and SUL operation in wireless systems, especially in systems using a shared spectrum. In one embodiment, a wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may receive information related to an upcoming channel occupancy time (COT) and use the received information to determine at least one resource for the operation of the WTRU during the COT. In one embodiment, the WTRU operating in a wireless network may transmit data on a first uplink carrier. It may trigger a switch from the first uplink carrier to a second uplink carrier based on at least one condition of the network and transmit data on the second uplink carrier.

  • Publication number: 20240323738
Abstract: Embodiments contemplate methods and systems for determining and communicating channel state information (CSI) for one or more transmission points (or CSI reference signal resources). Embodiments further contemplate determining transmission states may include applying at least one CSI process for channel state information (CSI) reporting. • Publication number: 20240314835
Abstract: Systems, methods, and instrumentalities are described herein for enhanced channel access. Resources may be configured to enable load-based equipment (LBE) access in an otherwise frame-based equipment (FBE) network. LBE access may be, for example, LBT category four (Cat 4). A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may determine whether an LBE resource is valid based on current channel occupancy. A WTRU may use an LBE resource as a function of a transmission priority (e.g., priority of the content of the transmission, for example a first PUSCH transmission may be associated with a first priority and a second PUSCH transmission may be associated with a second priority), transmission type (e.g., whether the transmission is for PUSCH or PUCCH, for DG-PUSCH or CG-PUSCH, for data or CSI or HARQ-ACK, etc.), requirement(s), and/or grant. A WTRU may use an LBE resource, for example, as a fallback resource.

  • Publication number: 20240298350
Abstract: A wireless transmit/receive unit (WTRU) may perform a listen before talk (LBT) procedure associated with a sidelink (SL) bandwidth. The SL bandwidth may include a resource block (RB) set. The WTRU may determine a CSLF associated with the RB set of the SL bandwidth based on the LBT procedure. The WTRU may determine a resource for reporting the CSLF, for example, based on a priority rule. The priority rule may indicate that a licensed resource has a higher priority than an unlicensed resource. The priority rule may indicate that, if a consistent LBT failure is not detected on an unlicensed uplink (UL) resource, the unlicensed UL resource has a higher priority than an unlicensed SL resource. The WTRU may send a medium access control (MAC) control element (CE) using the determined resource. In examples, the MAC CE may indicate the RB set.

  • Patent number: 12069623
Abstract: Devices and techniques for determining a transmission time interval (TTI) duration and/or varying the TTI duration are contemplated. • Publication number: 20240275650
Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for reducing control signaling in uplink transmissions. A device, such as a wireless transmit/receive unit, may determine to use a demodulation reference signal (DM-RS) transmission schedule out of a plurality of DM-RS transmission schedules. The DM-RS transmission schedule may be characterized by a DM-RS transmission being mapped to a first subset of subcarriers of an OFDM symbol of a subframe of a data stream and Physical Uplink Shared Channel (PUSCH) transmission or Physical Uplink Control Channel (PUCCH) control information being mapped to a second set of subcarriers of the OFDM symbol. The first set of subcarriers may be different than the second set of subcarriers. The data stream may be transmitted according to the DM-RS transmission schedule.

  • Publication number: 20240215071
Abstract: A WTRU may be configured to perform radio link monitoring (RLM) based on RLM reference signals (RLM-RSs) transmitted in a cell operating in an unlicensed spectrum. The WTRU may evaluate a radio link failure (RLF) status for the cell using a first RLM criteria based on the RLM-RSs. A transmission instance of the RLM-RSs may be skipped, for example, due to a listen before talk (LBT) failure at a gNodeB (gNB). The WTRU may adapt or change the first RLM criteria and/or evaluate the RLF status of the cell operating in the unlicensed spectrum using a second RLM criteria based on determining that the transmission instance of the RLM-RSs was skipped. The first RLM criteria may correspond to a first RLM process that utilizes a first set of RLM parameters. The second RLM criteria may correspond to a second RLM process that utilizes a second set of RLM parameters.
