  • Patent number: 10327590
Abstract: The charcoal starter provides a housing with an upper chamber and a lower chamber. The housing is constructed from a combustible material that is sufficiently rigid to enable the housing to store and support an amount of charcoal within the upper chamber. A divider separates the upper chamber from the lower chamber. The divider supports the charcoal above the lower chamber. The lower chamber provides space for placement of paper or other combustible material, such as a combustible solid, within the lower chamber. A user lights the combustible material to start a fire and generate heat. The heat and fire from the lower chamber travels upward to the upper chamber to light the charcoal. The charcoal starter burns to ashes during use as the charcoal burns.

  • Publication number: 20190161548
Abstract: The present invention is directed to bispecific molecules (e.g., diabodies, bispecific antibodies, trivalent binding molecules, etc.) that possess at least one epitope-binding site that is immunospecific for an epitope of PD-1 and at least one epitope-binding site that is immunospecific for an epitope of CTLA-4 (i.e., a “PD-1×CTLA-4 bispecific molecule”). The PD-1×CTLA-4 bispecific molecules of the present invention are capable of simultaneously binding to PD-1 and to CTLA-4, particularly as such molecules are arrayed on the surfaces of human cells. The invention is directed to pharmaceutical compositions that contain such PD-1×CTLA-4 bispecific molecules, and to methods involving the use of such bispecific molecules in the treatment of cancer and other diseases and conditions. The present invention also pertains to methods of using such PD-1×CTLA-4 bispecific molecules to stimulate an immune response.

  • Patent number: 10280661
Abstract: A latch assembly includes a chassis, a latch bolt moveably mounted on the chassis and having a closed position for retaining a striker and an open position for releasing the striker, a pawl having an engaged position at which the pawl is engaged with the latch bolt to hold the latch bolt in the closed position and a disengaged position at which the pawl is disengaged from the latch bolt, thereby allowing the latch bolt to move to the open position, an eccentric arrangement defining an eccentric axis and a pawl axis remote from the eccentric axis. The eccentric arrangement is rotatable about the eccentric axis, and the pawl is rotatable about the pawl axis. When the pawl moves from the engaged position to the disengaged position, the eccentric arrangement rotates in one of a clockwise and a counter-clockwise direction about the eccentric axis.
