Devices that exist presently evaluate narrow grip and are not focused on athletes. The invention herein incorporates elements of sport to evaluate finger, thumb, and forearm strength. This invention provides a device that measures hand strength and endurance in a sports specific wide grip positions. In one embodiment, said device is comprised of a ball filled with a compressible gas or incompressible fluid with an orifice that allows pressure measurements to be taken. In another embodiment, the ball or an object is equipped with individual force sensors that will be aligned with the user's fingers and thumb. These configurations can be implemented independently or simultaneously. The data from the sensors will be made available to the athlete in real time.

    Abstract: Pulmonary hypertension is a progressive disease of various origins that is associated with vascular remodelling and results in right heart dysfunction. Accumulating evidence indicates important roles of immune cells and inflammatory chemokines in the pathogenesis and progression of pulmonary hypertension. We have identified CCL21 as anti-remodelling efficacy biomarker for pulmonary hypertension. CCL21 was found to be highly sensitive and specific in discriminating pulmonary hypertension patients from matched controls. CCL21 was upregulated in pulmonary hypertension and down-regulated with treatment with an anti-remodelling agent.

ECIS determines connections to the online command recipients based on a connection map, which is updated whenever an endpoint component opens a connection to ask for a command. ECIS can deliver the command to the online command recipients using the connections. ECIS can also deliver the command to dispatch queues corresponding to the offline command recipients, where the dispatch queues store the command as a pending command that can be delivered to their respective command recipients whenever they come online.
