    Abstract: Systems and methods for forming a vacuum formed, apertured film with micro-aberrations may be disclosed. For example, a polymer web such as a molten polymer web may be received at an engagement point between a screen with a positive aberration and a roller comprising a surface with a negative depression. The roller may have a diameter of no more than about 5.5 inches. A micro-aberration may be expanded, for example, on a land of the polymer web at the engagement point by inserting the positive aberration on the screen into the negative depression on the surface of the roller at a pressure of about 1.5 to about 3.5 pounds per linear inch (PLI). Additionally, one or more apertures are formed in the polymer web adjacent to a micro-aberration on a land.

The method includes determining a discovery window interval K, the smallest integer greater than or equal to one, such that the probability that more than a threshold M devices will transmit during the same discovery window is less than a threshold probability P. The method further includes selecting a random or pseudo-random integer m in the range from 0 to K?1, deferring for at least m discovery windows after a previous interval K?1 has elapsed, and transmitting a discovery frame during the next discovery window after said deferring.

The supplemental digital data to be presented is sorted based on particular algorithms which may take into account broadcaster-specified criteria such as target audience, time of day, type of broadcast data presented, and the like. The supplemental digital data may be audio data, visual data, or audio-visual data for presentation with the broadcast data. The supplemental digital data may further be advertisement data. The advertisement data may be sold by the broadcasters or the party coordinating the IBOC transmission of the supplemental digital data.

The spring is held in tension by a second end of the spring being pinned against a bead contact by a trigger pin. The diameter of the piston and a tensile breaking strength of the trigger pin are selected so that the trigger pin is breakable and the tension in the spring is releasable upon the presence of a predetermined pressure difference between a pressure on the contact side of the piston and a pressure on the pinning side of the piston. Release of tension in the spring closes an electrical circuit.

A packet traffic management device (“PTMD”) may employ a data flow segment (“DFS”) and control segment (“CS”). The CS may perform high-level control functions and per-flow policy enforcement for connection flows maintained at the DFS, while the DFS may perform statistics gathering, per-packet policy enforcement (e.g., packet address translations), or the like, on connection flows maintained at the DFS. The DFS may include high-speed flow caches and other high-speed components that may be comprised of high-performance computer memory. Making efficient use of the high speed flow cache capacity may be improved by maximizing the number of hot connection flows and minimizing the number of malicious and/or in-operative connections flows (e.g., non-genuine flows) that may have flow control data stored in the high-speed flow cache.
