  • Publication number: 20240378074
Abstract: Concepts and technologies are disclosed herein for service creation and management. A processor can detect an event relating to a service, and access a service creation database to identify a recipe associated with the service. The recipe can define a resource to be used to provide the service. The processor can access an inventory to determine if the resource is available, identify a service control to control the service, instruct an infrastructure control to allocate virtual machines to host components of the service, and issue instructions to the service control. The instructions can instruct the service control to load service functions to the virtual machines.

  • Patent number: 12143376
Abstract: Techniques are disclosed relating to verifying that an alias value is unique across multiple different network regions. In various embodiments a server system located in a first network region may maintain an alias map that specifies encoded versions of alias values that are in use across multiple different network regions. For example, for a given alias value, the alias map may specify a corresponding encoded version of the alias value and an identifier for a given one of the network regions with which the given alias value is associated. In various embodiments, the server system may receive a user-provided alias value from a user during an account registration process and, using the alias map, determine whether the user-provided alias value is already in use in any of the network regions.

  • Patent number: 12134521
Abstract: An automated in-rack picking solution enables improved efficiency by permitting automatic reconfiguration of automated picking system (APS) deployments within an automated storage and retrieval system (ASRS). The storage volume of an ASRS can be more thoroughly utilized, even with a smaller number of APSs, when at least one APS is operable to autonomously relocate within the ASRS based at least on a stored item's location and/or property (e.g., suitability for handling by a particular end effector). An exemplary solution includes an APS positioned to reach stored items within a first subset of storage locations when affixed to a first attachment point; a transport component operable to relocate the APS to a second attachment point, wherein the APS is positioned to reach stored items within a second subset of the storage locations when affixed to the second attachment point; and a controller operable to instruct relocation of the APS.

  • Patent number: 12134198
Abstract: Examples provide a method and system for customized item decanting. A decant manager, implemented on a processor, identifies a destination tote in a set of totes for placement of a selected item. The decant manager controls a robotic decanting device to remove the selected item from a selected case and places the selected item into the destination tote. The decant manager analyzes sensor data and item data associated with the selected item to confirm an identification of the selected item placed into the destination tote for inventory update.

  • Patent number: 12131592
Abstract: Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for detecting potentially unsafe wear levels in vehicle suspension systems. An embodiment operates by receiving acoustic signals of a vehicle suspension system, processing, the acoustic signals to generate training data, training a predictive learning algorithm to generate a predictive wear model and classifying the processed acoustic signals to indicate wear levels of one or more components of the vehicle suspension system. The trained predictive wear model subsequently predicts wear levels of the vehicle suspension system for notification to a cloud-based repository. Fleets of driverless vehicles may continuously monitor wear levels for timely maintenance before failure occurs.
