  • Patent number: 10526639
Abstract: The present invention relates to the field of analysis of the three-dimensional structure of the genome, i.e., for genome architecture mapping (GAM). The invention provides a method of determining spatial proximity of a plurality of nucleic acid loci in a compartment such as the cell nucleus, by exploiting their co-segregation amongst fractions of that compartment, identified upon separation of the nucleic acid loci from each other depending on their localization in the compartment to obtain a collection of fractions, e.g., by cryo-sectioning or cryo-milling the compartment; determining the presence or absence of the plurality of loci in the fractions; and determining the co-segregation of the plurality of loci. Co-segregation may then be analysed with statistical methods to determine spatial proximity. The method can be used e.g., for determining physical distance between a plurality of loci; and mapping loci and/or genome architecture, e.g.

  • Patent number: 10531598
Abstract: Method for and apparatus were fans and cable placed at the ends at the same end of a computer rack drawer. The cable ends are located between the fans and the computing elements. The bulk length of each cable passes through the region where the fans are located. Air, and optionally EMI, sealing are provided by an elastic material near the fans. In this way cables could exit the same tailstock of the drawer where fans are located. The cable ends can receive good cooling, and the distance between the cable ends and computing elements of the drawer is not lengthened by the fan position.

  • Publication number: 20200000169
Abstract: A garment worn by a wearer has an exterior shell and an interior shell with various impact absorbing material between the exterior shell and the interior shell. The impact absorbing material includes multiple structures, such as rods or filaments, capable of deforming when force is applied then returning to its state prior to application of the force. In various embodiments, a rate sensitive material (RSM) is positioned in one or more locations relative to the exterior shell and the interior shell of the garment to further attenuate impacts to the garment. The RSM changes its resistance to force based on a rate at which the material is loaded.

  • Patent number: 10522050
Abstract: An optimization engine builds a set of test forms, called a pallet for use in a qualification test setting. The pallet is generated using a optimization engine programmed with constraints and goals for each test form in the pallet and for the pallet in general. A test information floor is set at the cut point of the test which causes test items to be focused at the area of the test where the pass/fail decision is made. Further constraints may be programmed to maximize the item diversity, that is, to spread the use of available test items as uniformly as possible.
