  • Publication number: 20200254294
Abstract: A device for an exercise apparatus includes a linear adjustment system and a sensor coupled to the linear adjustment system. The exercise apparatus includes a loading interface and a frame coupled to the loading interface for performing an exercise. The linear adjustment system fixes the loading interface of the exercise apparatus at any one of a plurality of functional positions in a functional range of the loading interface. The sensor measures the force exerted on the linear adjustment system. A correlating mechanism is used to correlate the force exerted on the linear adjustment system with the force exerted on the loading interface. The device allows exercisers to exert high or maximum loads in any one of a plurality of positions throughout their entire range of motion without first passing through a weak range of motion.

  • Patent number: 10719191
Abstract: Systems and methods are provides for changing a user interface for a multi-screen device. The user interface can change based on the movement of a window. The system can receive a user interface event that modifies the display of windows in the user interface. Upon receiving the user interface event, the system determines if a window has been covered or uncovered. If a window has been covered, the window is placed in a sleep state. If a window is uncovered, the window is activated from a sleep state. A sleep state is a window state where an application associated with the window does not receive user interface inputs and/or does not render the window.

  • Publication number: 20200215636
Abstract: Methods and system of the present invention include hot-wire strip deposition system used in combination with a high heat source, where the system deposits a strip consumable into a molten puddle. During deposition the strip consumable is deposited at an angle relative to the workpiece surface and in some embodiments has a downforce applied to the consumable to maintain contact between the puddle and the consumable. The heating current for the consumable is turned off or greatly reduced when an arcing event is detected. In some embodiments the strip consumable can be curved to promote contact during the deposition process.

  • Publication number: 20200201708
Abstract: Various implementations are directed to systems and methods for maintaining integrity and reliability of data in an SSD device using error correction coding. According to certain aspects, for frames of data having an ECC code with two or more sub-codes, while one sub-decoder is not in use it could be used to start a decode of another frame. By “interleaving” and alternating the frames between sub-decoders, two or more frames can be decoded simultaneously in an efficient manner. This can clearly be extended to more sub-codes (i.e. dimensions greater than two).

  • Publication number: 20200201940
Abstract: Examples of automatically generating natural language pipelines to process an input to generate tags, semantic or syntactic, are described. In an example, on receiving a request to process input data to generate tags, a dependency graph, based on identified dependees and further dependees may be created to satisfy the request, the dependency graph including natural language operations arranged in order of their dependencies on each other. Based on the dependency graph, a pipeline for the tags may be automatically generated, which includes a series of natural language operations such that the operations for dependee tags are processed before any of their associated depender tags.

  • Patent number: 10691713
Abstract: A method in a computer system includes displaying a user interface screen to aid in generating search queries for a semantic database. The user may select two or more data classes from a displayed class hierarchy. Analysis of the semantic database may lead to generating and displaying one or more paths via class relationships between selected data classes. The user may interact with a displayed path of class relationships to provide input to the system, and from that input the system may automatically generate a search query.
