  • Patent number: 9404544
Abstract: A slave cylinder for a vibration-damped hydraulic force transmission system, particularly a hydraulic clutch actuating system for motor vehicles is disclosed, comprising a cylinder housing, a piston received therein to be longitudinally displaceable and a pressure chamber which is bounded by the cylinder housing and the piston and which can be selectably acted on by a pressure medium, by way of a pressure connection provided in the cylinder housing, in order to displace the piston in the cylinder housing. An insert member which is inserted in the pressure chamber and secured in the pressure connection and which is equipped with a device for reducing pressure pulses, the device being constantly open to the pressure medium, is additionally provided. As a result, the vibration-damping measures or means are integrated in the slave cylinder in a particularly economic and space-saving manner.

  • Patent number: 9360155
Abstract: A microphone is mounted to apparatus in order to receive sound from a sound source. The apparatus has a microphone clamp to secure different microphones to a variety of musical instruments and other sound sources and may be used to directly mount a microphone to a variety of clamping surfaces. The mounting apparatus incorporates a dual jaw design to allow for easy, fast, and secure mounting to the clamping surface. The apparatus supports a quick release mechanism for easy and fast engagement and disengagement of the dual jaws, consequently reducing time needed to securely clamp and remove the mounting apparatus with the clamping surface. The release mechanism may include a dowel release having a hole through which the jaw stud is situated. The hole has two curved surfaces so that one of jaws may be moved without turning the jaw stud when the dowel release is depressed.

  • Patent number: 9336124
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of preparing and launching a test application on a first machine that is automatically executed on a second machine. A developer can prepare a test application on the first machine, and instead of the developer performing multiple steps to copy the test program to a second machine and set up the test environment, the method can automatically detect test environment data, and transmit the test application and the test environment data. Test environment data can include the directory of where the test program should be installed and executed. The test application can be run on the second machine and the results can be returned to the first machine where they can be displayed to the developer.

  • Publication number: 20160106114
Abstract: Poultry carcasses are chilled rapidly when exposed to a flow of gaseous air at a temperature in the range from about ?50° C. to about ?120° C. for a period of time in the range from about 1 s to about 60 s. The flow is directed over and into the body cavity of the carcasses. The carcasses are orientated in the flow such that the sternum of each carcass faces downstream. One advantage of the process is that the number of viable microorganisms present on the carcasses is reduced significantly while avoiding freeze-damage to the carcasses.

  • Patent number: 9304762
Abstract: Disclosed is a method of automatically customizing a computer executable application, such as a test automation harness, based on currently installed modules. The functionality of the application can be split in multiple modules. At runtime, the application can automatically detect the presence or absence of a module. If a module is available, it can automatically be integrated with the application such that the functionality, such as language-level features and constructs, provided by the module is active and/or exposed. If the module is absent, the application can continue executing without the functionality provided by the module.
