  • Patent number: 9489480
Abstract: Techniques for compiling an integrated circuit (IC) design with an electronic design automation (EDA) tool are provided. The IC design may be compiled for different IC devices. When the IC design is compiled for a selected integrated circuit device, the EDA tool may analyze the IC design to determine whether the design is compatible with the selected IC device. If the IC design contains elements that are incompatible with the selected IC device, the EDA tool may compile the design based on a simulated removal of the incompatible elements. In some instances, the EDA tool may identify optimization opportunities in the IC design and may compile the design based on an optimized version of the IC design. The EDA tool may generate a compilation output (e.g., a performance analysis report) based on the simulated removal of the incompatible elements (or the optimized version of the IC design.

  • Patent number: 9360155
Abstract: A microphone is mounted to apparatus in order to receive sound from a sound source. The apparatus has a microphone clamp to secure different microphones to a variety of musical instruments and other sound sources and may be used to directly mount a microphone to a variety of clamping surfaces. The mounting apparatus incorporates a dual jaw design to allow for easy, fast, and secure mounting to the clamping surface. The apparatus supports a quick release mechanism for easy and fast engagement and disengagement of the dual jaws, consequently reducing time needed to securely clamp and remove the mounting apparatus with the clamping surface. The release mechanism may include a dowel release having a hole through which the jaw stud is situated. The hole has two curved surfaces so that one of jaws may be moved without turning the jaw stud when the dowel release is depressed.

  • Publication number: 20160106114
Abstract: Poultry carcasses are chilled rapidly when exposed to a flow of gaseous air at a temperature in the range from about ?50° C. to about ?120° C. for a period of time in the range from about 1 s to about 60 s. The flow is directed over and into the body cavity of the carcasses. The carcasses are orientated in the flow such that the sternum of each carcass faces downstream. One advantage of the process is that the number of viable microorganisms present on the carcasses is reduced significantly while avoiding freeze-damage to the carcasses.
