  • Patent number: 11628770
Abstract: Drive for an adjusting instrument, comprising a single motor, in particular an electric motor, and a driving shaft coupled therewith. The driving shaft cooperates via a transmission selectively with a first and a second driving path respectively. The drive comprises furthermore an operating mechanism with which the transmission is switchable between the first and the second driving path. The operating mechanism is energized by the motor via the driving shaft and is configured, upon successive energization of the motor from rest of the drive, to select alternately the first and the second driving path as initial driving path.

  • Publication number: 20220348140
Abstract: A drive component comprising a first rotation part and a second rotation part arranged to rotate together around a common central axis with respect to each other around that central axis. The drive component further comprises a rotation limiter operative between the two rotation parts, which limits rotation between them. The rotation limiter is so arranged that when the first rotation part is driven to rotation, the first rotation part after traversing a free angular stroke carries the second rotation part in a mutual angular position determined by the rotation limiter, i.e. the carry-along angle, along in rotation. The rotation limiter comprises an indexer energized by rotation of the first and/or second rotation part, so that in successive driving cycles on the drive component the carry-along angle is indexed and the rotation parts in successive driving cycles differ in mutual angular position at carry-along.

  • Patent number: 11084425
Abstract: The invention relates to an actuator mechanism for adjusting at least one angular position of a mirror element in an exterior mirror device for a motor vehicle. The actuator mechanism comprises a base element and a mirror element movably coupled with the base element, which comprises a mirror support for supporting a mirror surface. The mirror element is rotatable relative to the base element about at least a first pivoting axis with the aid of a first electric motor provided in the actuator mechanism, which extends in a longitudinal direction that is substantially transverse to a supporting surface of the mirror support. What can be elegantly facilitated by this, for instance also in the case of a relatively small mirror surface that is only a few centimeters wide and/or is only a few centimeters long, is that, as seen from a direction in which during use the mirror surface is being viewed by a driver, such electric motor does not protrude, or hardly protrudes, next to, above and/or below the mirror surface.

  • Patent number: 10493918
Abstract: The invention relates to a fastening construction for an exterior mirror unit for a motor vehicle, comprising two parts secured to each other substantially immovably at least in an axial direction. A first part has a frame, configured to cooperate with the second part, which accommodates a resilient element such that the frame can at least locally allow the resilient element, during assembly of the first part to the second part, to bend and/or spring away in a sideward direction which extends substantially transversely to the axial direction, while the frame at least locally prevents the resilient element from bending and/or springing away at least one way in said axial direction. The fastening construction is furthermore configured to have the resilient element, during the placement of the first and the second part onto each other, spring away in the sideward direction and thereupon have it at least partly spring back.
