Abstract: This invention relates to a mobile electronic device and a power management method of a battery module thereof. The mobile electronic device includes a battery module, a charging/discharging module, and a control module. The charging/discharging module is coupled with the battery module. The control module is coupled with the battery module and the charging/discharging module. When the power supply is coupled with the mobile electronic device and the system time is not within a maintenance period, the control module controls the charging/discharging module to maintain capacity of the battery module within a first capacity range. When the power supply is coupled with the mobile electronic device and the system time is within the maintenance period, the control module controls the charging/discharging module to maintain the capacity of the battery module within a second capacity range.

Abstract: A process for preparing polyoxymethylene dimethyl ethers from methanol is disclosed. For example, the process comprises contacting methanol with at least one oxidant in the presence of at least one catalyst wherein the at least one catalyst comprises at least one Group VIB metal component, such as in an amount of from about 0.5 to about 50 wt % (in terms of metal oxide) and at least one Group VIII metal component, such as in an amount of from about 0.2 to about 20 wt % (in terms of metal oxide), and at least one molecular sieve having acidic catalytic activity, such as in an amount of from about 40 to about 95 wt %, based on the total weight of the at least one catalyst for a time sufficient to obtain polyoxymethylene dimethyl ethers.

The voltage-sensing module is coupled to the voltage transformation module and configured to detect a voltage of a first terminal, wherein the voltage of the first terminal is proportional to the output voltage. The timer is configured to measure the time duration for which the voltage of the first terminal is lower than a reference voltage, wherein the timer initiates a short circuit signal when the time duration is greater than a predetermined value.

The method includes identifying at least two speech recognition hypotheses for a word which have time ranges satisfying a criteria. The method further includes merging the at least two speech recognition hypotheses to generate a merged speech recognition hypothesis for the word.

Abstract: Described is a technology that provides highly accurate speech-recognized text transcripts of conversations, particularly telephone or meeting conversations. Speech is received for recognition when it is at a high quality and separate for each user, that is, independent of any transmission. Moreover, because the speech is received separately, a personalized recognition model adapted to each user's voice and vocabulary may be used. The separately recognized text is then merged into a transcript of the communication. The transcript may be labeled with the identity of each user that spoke the corresponding speech. The output of the transcript may be dynamic as the conversation takes place, or may occur later, such as contingent upon each user agreeing to release his or her text. The transcript may be incorporated into the text or data of another program, such as to insert it as a thread in a larger email conversation or the like.

In particular, a chemical modification of proteins at their N-termini via a transamination reaction to form homogeneous adducts such as, the corresponding oxime derivatives is provided. Methods of making and using the adducts in radio-labelling, molecular imaging applications, and treatment of disorders such as cancer, Crohn's disease, arthritis, atherothrombosis and plaque rupture are also provided.

Abstract: A system and method for protecting data of network users are provided. A user end device is connected to a routing device. Then, the routing device directs data packets of the user end device into a data protection device connected to the routing device in series, according to profiles corresponding to the user end device. Security services are performed on the received data packets by the data protection device, thereby providing effective data security protection services to network users and overcoming the drawbacks of high costs and high maintenance required for self-configuration of such mechanisms in prior techniques.

Abstract: A system and method for identifying a network-connected user are disclosed. The method includes connecting a user end device to a routing device and guiding the user end device to a specific routing path by the routing device according to a programmed file of the user end device, thereby overcoming the drawbacks of prior techniques in which routing devices configured by ISPs can only forward data packets based on IP addresses and a routing table, being unable to make routing orientations according to characteristics of the data packets. The present invention facilitates management of data packets of specific network users and can provide more flexible combinations of service content.
