The gripping feature includes a rake surface forming an acute angle with the grip surface. The rake surface extends into the grip at an acute angle relative to a plane perpendicular to the axis.

Abstract: A method and system for tracking activities relating to a common transaction executed across multiple services of a distributed computing environment. An aggregator receives intra-service activity information from collectors associated with a first service and a second service of the distributed computing environment. The aggregator identifies a first inter-service communication correlation linking the intra-service activity information of the first service to a first inter-service message. The aggregator further identifies a second inter-service communication correlation linking the intra-service activity information of the second service to the second inter-service message. The aggregator identifies an inter-service communication correlation linking the first inter-service message with the second inter-service message and associates the intra-service activity of the first service with the intra-service activity of the second service using the inter-service communication correlation.

Abstract: A device and method for determining and applying a transfer voltage in an imaging apparatus is provided. A servo voltage is determined based in part upon a change in an environmental condition. A determination is made whether or not to perform a new transfer servo operation based upon at least one of an amount of time passing since the last transfer servo operation was performed and a comparison of the determined servo voltage and a servo voltage used in a prior transfer servo operation. A transfer servo operation includes charging a photoconductive drum to a charge corresponding to a printing voltage.

Abstract: An image forming apparatus includes a plurality of photoconductive drums, each photoconductive drum transferring a portion of a toner image to an intermediate transfer member. The photoconductive drums are individually rotated to a printing speed such that a downstream photoconductive drum starts rotating prior to an adjacent upstream photoconductive drum starts image transfer. Similarly, an upstream photoconductive drum starts deceleration when its following downstream station has transferred image.

Abstract: Devices and methods for deploying an anastomotic stent between portions of the gastro-intestinal (GI) tract are disclosed. The anastomotic stents are configured to atraumatically engage the tissue walls and to permit the flow of fluid, partially digested food, and food. The stents can be deployed using endoscopic catheter devices, laparoscopic tools, and combinations of both endoscopic tools and laparoscopic tools. Examples of anastomoses include anastomoses between the stomach and a portion of the intestines such as the jejunum. Anastomoses can also be formed between two closed ends of the intestines, such as two closed ends of the colon formed during a colon resection procedure. Anastomoses can also be formed between a fundal pouch formed during a gastric bypass procedure and the jejunum. Laparoscopic tools are disclosed to deploy a stent by selectively removing a radial restraint on a self expanding stent with the restraint removed through the laparoscopic access points.

Abstract: Insulating materials are provided, the insulating materials comprising a nonwoven web comprising a plurality of continuous spunbonded polyester bicomponent fibers. Each of the plurality of bicomponent fibers comprises a) from about 20% by weight to about 80% by weight of poly(ethylene terephthalate) in a core, and b) from about 80% by weight to about 20% by weight of poly(trimethylene terephathalate) in a sheath surrounding the core, wherein the amounts in percent by weight are based on the total weight of each of the plurality of bicomponent fibers. Also provided are electrical apparatuses comprising the insulating materials and a dielectric fluid, as well as a dielectric material comprising the nonwoven web impregnated with at least 10 weight percent of a dielectric fluid.

Abstract: Adjacent tissue layers can be accessed using a catheter device with a distal tip having a conductive portion including a first cutting feature and one or more projections extending from the first cutting feature towards an outer diameter of the distal tip. Electrical energy can be supplied to the conductive portion of the device to cut tissue. A stent can be delivered to form a fluid communication between the adjacent tissue layers.

The user interface may include a reading lens portion configured to facilitate providing expanded viewing of content from other portions of the display. The reading lens portion may be displayed according to a non-linear timeline as to facilitate identifying upcoming contents without being constrained by a linear timeline used in other portions of the user interface.

Abstract: A method and system for generating a set of service definitions relating to a computer application based on a set of activity events associated with a service. Based on an examination of an existing service of interest, a set of activity traces is extracted from the set of activity events and common activity events in each activity trace are identified. The common activity events are transformed into service actions and a service definition is generated including the service actions. The generated service definition may then be deployed on a suitable computing system, such as, for example, a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) platform.

The apparatus generally comprises a body defining a longitudinal cavity therein for longitudinal alignment with the hole. Abstract: A method and system for generating a set of service definitions relating to a computer application based on a set of interaction models relating to a set of participants in the interaction models. For each participant, a set of message traces is extracted from the set of interaction models and common message events in each message trace are identified. The common message events are transformed into service actions and a service definition is generated including the service actions. The generated service definition may then be deployed on a suitable computing system, such as, for example, a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) platform.

Abstract: Dielectric fluids are provided, the dielectric fluids comprising a mixture of polyol esters derived from a reaction of a) a polyol comprising pentaerythritol, trimethylolpropane, neopentyl glycol, or combinations thereof, and b) a mixture of fatty acid esters derived from a high oleic soybean oil comprising fatty acid moieties, wherein the high oleic soybean oil has a C18:1 content of greater than 65% of the fatty acid moieties in the oil, and a combined C18:2 and C18:3 content of less than 20% of the fatty acid moieties in the oil. Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, system and computer program product for shelf life expiration date management for smart refrigerators. In an embodiment of the invention, a method for shelf life expiration date management for smart refrigerators is provided. The method includes identifying a consumer during a point of sale transaction for purchasing different food items by a point of sale computer system, for example by scanning a bar code or reading a magnetic strip of a loyalty program card or reading a radio frequency identification (RFID) dongle. A list of the different food items can be provided to the smart refrigerator, for example from storage in the loyalty program card or RFID dongle, or as transmitted from the point of sale computer system to the smart refrigerator over a computer communications network. Finally, expiration dates can be determined for the food items in the list and stored in the smart refrigerator.

Abstract: A steel armour comprising between 90% and 50% bainite, the rest being austenite, in which excess carbon remains within the bainitic ferrite at a concentration beyond that consistent with equilibrium; there is also partial partitioning of carbon into the residual austenite. In one embodiment of the invention the bainite comprises in weight percent: carbon 0.6 to 1.1%, silicon 1.5 to 2.0%, manganese 0.5 to 1.8%, nickel up to 3%, chromium 1.0 to 1.5%, molybdenum 0.2 to 0.5%, vanadium 0.1 to 0.2%, balance iron save for incidental impurities. In particular it was noted that excellent properties were obtained if the manganese content is about 1% by weight. By forming the steel as a pearlite sheet the elements (310,410) of the panel can be formed easily by cutting or stamping before final transformation to bainite. Cutting may also occur after final transformation using water- jet or laser cutting. Alternatively hot forging elements is described.

Abstract: A system for tailoring a transfer nip electric field includes a transfer roll, a backup roll forming a transfer nip with the transfer roll, and a pre-nip roll positioned upstream from the transfer and backup rolls and the transfer nip such that a toner image-supporting transfer belt moving past the pre-nip, transfer and backup rolls separately makes contact with, wraps partially around, and rotates each of the rolls as a media sheet is fed into the transfer nip after first passing through a gap defined between the pre-nip and transfer rolls such that by presetting the position, geometry and charge of the pre-nip roll relative to the transfer and backup rolls and the transfer belt an electrical field at the transfer nip can be tailored for enhanced toner transfer from the transfer belt to the media sheet.
