  • Patent number: 8262095
Abstract: An improved shuck has one end coupling with a fabrication machine through a holding member. The chuck includes a coupling structure, a grip means and a shank. The coupling structure has a first screwing portion at one end and a fastening member at the other end. The grip means has a second screwing portion at one end engageable with the first screwing portion and a plurality of grip jaws at the other end inclined outwards. The coupling structure and the grip means are held in a through hole formed in the shank. The through hole has an internal side to form compact holding of the grip means to firmly hold a tool. After the coupling structure is anchored through the fastening member, the shank can be turned to drive the grip means to move, and the grip jaws can be expanded or contracted to release or grip the tool.

  • Patent number: 7793238
Abstract: Various approaches for improving an integrated circuit layout. In one approach, a tree-type hierarchical layout representation of the circuit design is traversed. At each block visited during the traversing, a process determines whether there exists an improvement opportunity for each cell associated with the block. In response to determining that an improvement opportunity exists for a cell of a first block of the plurality of blocks, the process determines whether a modification to the cell satisfies one or more rules for every other block of the block type of the first block in the hierarchical representation. If the rules are satisfied, the modification is stored. Otherwise, the modification is discarded.

  • Publication number: 20100220058
Abstract: A mouse includes a device main body, a magnetic component and a receiver. The device main body is comprised of a shell of a wireless input device and is arranged a receiving case. The magnetic component and an accommodation part shown as a hollow configuration are arranged in the receiving case. An opening of the receiving case is formed on the accommodation part and faces the outside of the device main body. Corresponding to the accommodation part, the receiver can be placed into the accommodation part and generates magnetic attraction with the magnetic component. In the invention, the device main body can also be a main body of mouse.

  • Patent number: 7721635
Abstract: A punch apparatus for punching holes through a paper stack. The apparatus has a rotationally attached lever handle. The lever handle has a handle end, a contact end, and a rotation axis between the handle end and the contact end. When a downward force is applied to the handle end, the lever handle rotates about the rotation axis. The contact end of the lever handle then exerts a force on a lever arm which in turn rotates a main shaft and attached pressure plate. As a result, the pressure plate exerts a punching force down on punch pins causing them to punch down through the paper stack.

  • Publication number: 20100096813
Abstract: A chucking end structure of hand tools to enhance safety and overcome hard-maneuvering issues of the conventional structures. The invention includes a driving means to provide rotating energy and a chuck assembly to hold a cutter or a tool. The foregoing means and assembly are linked by a transmission shaft to transmit rotation. The transmission shaft is held in a holding hub which is engaged with a casing to house the driving means. The character of the invention is that a hollow shell to encase but not contact the chuck assembly. The transmission shaft comprises a first transmission shaft and a second transmission shaft which mortise with each other by a lug end and a notch end with a sloped side. The invention resolves problems of hard-maneuvering issues or hazards caused by inadvertently touching the rotating chuck assembly of the conventional hand tools.

  • Publication number: 20090278324
Abstract: A tool chucking apparatus to hold a machining cutter or tool includes a holding member and a fastening member that are coupled together to form a grip space inside to hold a collet. The collet has a plurality of pawl structures with a plurality of elastic slots formed thereon. When the holding member and the fastening member are coupled, the collet has one end tightly held in the holding member and the other end tightly held in the fastening member. Hence the two ends of the collet contract the elastic slots to tightly grip the cutter or tool. As a result, machining precision improves, safety enhances and the life span of the cutter or tool increases.
