  • Publication number: 20080168874
Abstract: A punch apparatus for punching holes through a paper stack. The apparatus has a rotationally attached lever handle. The lever handle has a handle end, a contact end, and a rotation axis between the handle end and the contact end. When a downward force is applied to the handle end, the lever handle rotates about the rotation axis. The contact end of the lever handle then exerts a force on a lever arm which in turn rotates a main shaft and attached pressure plate. As a result, the pressure plate exerts a punching force down on punch pins causing them to punch down through the paper stack.

  • Patent number: 7393164
Abstract: The present invention provides a dynamic balancing ring for a cutter holder for balancing the cutter holder. The dynamic balancing ring includes a circle, plural fixing elements and an adjusting element. The plural fixing elements are used for fixing the circle on the cutter holder, and after the center-of-gravity position of the cutter holder is obtained by dynamic balance corrector, the adjusting element can be installed at a position on the circle corresponding to the center-of-gravity position, and through adjusting the adjusting element, the dynamic balance of the cutter holder can be corrected. For using the dynamic balancing ring for the cutter holder according to the present invention, it is convenient that the dynamic balancing ring can be directly installed on the cutter holder, which is needed to be corrected, without additional processing.

  • Publication number: 20080081303
Abstract: A lighter device includes a main body, at least a rotating body, a shining portion, and an igniting portion. The main body being a hollow cylindrical structure has a containing space. The rotating body being slipping on the periphery of the main body is capable of rotating with respect to the axis of the main body to perform a rotational movement. The shining portion provided in the containing space has a stick-adhered switch and a power supply wherein the stick-adhered switch is capable of locating at a first position to contact the power supply and radiate a light source. The igniting portion being disposed in the containing space has a key-pressing switch and an interlocking element. The interlocking element is connected to the key-pressing switch and is matched to the corresponding stick-adhered switch. When one acts the key-pressing switch, the interlocking element is capable of propping up the stick-adhered switch to make the stick-adhered switch locate at the first position.

  • Patent number: 7341411
Abstract: A tool holder structure includes a holder installed on a connecting portion of a machine for holding a tool, the holder has a connecting cone for connecting the connecting portion, and a latching portion with an external diameter larger than the connecting cone disposed at the bottom of the connecting cone. The invention installs a ring between the latching portion and a surface of the connecting portion for pressing and connecting the connecting portion to define a tight engagement, so that the holder can be connected to a machine by the connecting cone as well as the ring. The invention can greatly enhance the stability for operations and the precision of manufacturing dimensions, and the invention can be used extensively for various different machines and holders of existing specifications while providing stable operations of the machines and extending the life of the machines.

  • Publication number: 20080015753
Abstract: An adaptive energy absorption system for a vehicle seat is disclosed, utilizing an adaptive energy absorber or variable profile energy absorber (VPEA) for mitigating occupant injury due to extreme vehicle movement (e.g., during a vehicle shock event), and/or for mitigating vibration experienced by an occupant of the vehicle seat during normal vehicle operating conditions. The adaptive energy absorption system achieves the aforementioned objectives for a wide range of occupant weights and load levels. Various configurations of dual-goal energy absorption apparatuses that enable both shock mitigation and vibration isolation are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20070264072
Abstract: A keyboard (or keypad) includes a top surface formed with a transparent anti-bacteria layer of titanium crystals which is formed by coating a titanium dioxide (TiO2) on the top surface in a nano process at a very low temperature whereby exposing the top surface to light rays will kill bacteria or viruses grown or adhered on the top surface through a photoactinic effect. Preferably, the titanium crystal has a diameter of about 20 nm.
