  • Patent number: 11154818
Abstract: A permeable membrane tube to separate mixed fluids is provided, including a cyclone generator configured to cause fluid entering the permeable tube to flow in a spiral direction. The cyclonic generator may be a plug positioned at the fluid entrance of the membrane tube. The fluid passes through the permeable membrane tube, which has a center axis along a length of the tube, and flows in the spiral direction thereby separating the fluid into first and second portions, wherein the first portion comprises fluid having a greater density than the second portion and the first portion is directed to an inner surface of the tube.

  • Publication number: 20210323640
Abstract: A release mechanism for a tether assembly. A circular base ring has a central opening sized to accept a connecting member, and a plurality of radial slots. Dogs are disposed in the radial slots, and movable radially inwardly and outwardly. A cam ring having angled slots is operatively connected to the base ring, with upturned ends on the dogs engaged in the angled slots. Relative rotation between the cam ring and the base ring, by hydraulic cylinders connecting the two rings, moves the dogs radially inwardly and outwardly. In their radially inward position the dogs engage a circumferential groove in an elongated connecting member, thereby connecting the tether assembly.

  • Patent number: 11147454
Abstract: A pre-event connectome of a subject brain is accessed, the pre-event connectome defining i) first functional nodes in the subject brain and ii) first edges that represent connections between the first functional nodes before the subject has undergone an event. A post-event connectome of the subject brain is accessed, the post-event connectome defining i) second functional nodes in the subject brain and ii) second edges that represent connections between the second functional nodes after the subject has undergone the event. A connectome-difference map data is generated that records the difference between the pre-event connectome and the post-event connectome. An action is taken based on the connectome-difference map data.

  • Patent number: 11146925
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a system and method for locating terminals within a facility. One or more of a plurality of primary terminals send a location signal which may comprise location data for the respective primary terminal. A secondary terminal, of a plurality of secondary terminals may receive one or more of these location signals. In response, the secondary terminal sends a confirmation message to each primary terminal from which it has received a location signal. The confirmation message may comprise a unique identifier for the secondary terminal. In response to receiving one or more confirmation messages, a primary terminal sends a location reporting message to a location processing server. The location reporting message comprises the location data for that primary terminal and the contents of the received confirmation message(s). The data held on the location processing server can be used to determine the location and movement of each of the primary terminals and the secondary terminals.

  • Patent number: 11112926
Abstract: Systems, apparatuses, and methods for implementing enhanced scaling techniques for display objects are disclosed. When graphical content is created by an application, display objects register with a scaling manager to be notified of display scaling events. These display scaling events can be caused by changing displays, changing resolution or other parameters on a display, changing a text size, resizing one or more graphical elements, or otherwise. When a display scaling event is detected, display objects are notified of the event by the scaling manager. If a given display object makes a decision to change the amount of space it occupies based on the event, the given display object notifies its parent object of the desired change. The parent can then decide whether to allow the change and/or to make adjustments to other display objects to accommodate the change sought by the given display object.
