  • Publication number: 20240163985
Abstract: A lighting system includes control adapters and a lighting controller that sends commands and data over an AC power line to power and control the lamps associated with the control adapters. Lighting themes are uniquely programmable color and intensity that are applied to a collection of control adapters to achieve different lighting modes instantly, without the delay that programming each control adapter individually incurs. The plurality of control adapters receive theme lighting information over the power line and store the theme information in memory. The lighting controller sends a single command to the collections of the control adapter groups to apply the theme or a multiple of themes to run in sequence as a pattern. Each control adapter retrieves and applies the theme information associated with the pattern.

  • Patent number: 11985010
Abstract: Aspects of this disclosure relate to a time-division duplex (TDD) multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) system that includes a plurality of nodes. The plurality of nodes collectively includes antennas divided into groups. Reference signals can be transmitted from each group of antennas to one or more other groups of antennas during respective time slots. Channel estimates can be generated based on the received reference signals. The channel estimates can be jointly processed to generate calibration coefficients. Each calibration coefficient can represent a ratio associated with a transmit coefficient and a receive coefficient. Example algorithms for the joint processing are disclosed.

  • Publication number: 20240152205
Abstract: Systems and methods disclosed herein are related to an intelligent UI element selection system using eye-gaze technology. In some example aspects, a UI element selection zone may be determined. The selection zone may be defined as an area surrounding a boundary of the UI element. Gaze input may be received and the gaze input may be compared with the selection zone to determine an intent of the user. The gaze input may comprise one or more gaze locations. Each gaze location may be assigned a value according to its proximity to the UI element and/or its relation to the UI element's selection zone. Each UI element may be assigned a threshold. If the aggregated value of gaze input is equal to or greater than the threshold for the UI element, then the UI element may be selected.

  • Publication number: 20240131295
Abstract: A device (102) provides respiratory treatment for SDB (including mild OSA) and other respiratory conditions. A flow generator warms and humidifies gas at controlled flow levels. For example, the device (102) delivers breathable gas to the upper airway at flow rates of about 10-35 Liters/minute. Levels of flow rate, temperature and/or humidification of the device may be automatically adjusted in response to the detection of SDB events. The device may also automatically deliver adjustments of any of the levels in accordance with detected phases of respiratory cycles. In some embodiments, the device automatically delivers distinct levels to either of the nares based on independent control of flow to each nare. A warm-up procedure controls temperature and humidity at a desired target during a ramp-up of flow to the set therapy level. A cool-down procedure controls temperature above the dewpoint to avoid condensation internal to the device and patient interface.

  • Publication number: 20240107958
Abstract: An irrigation communicates wirelessly with irrigation control valves. A wireless controller transceiver unit obtains signals from the irrigation controller and transmits these signals wirelessly to a valve transceiver. The irrigation control valves open or close according to the signals received by the valve transceiver. The irrigation system also includes an auxiliary communication device that communicates user commands to the controller transceiver. The user commands are used to create associations between the controller transceiver and each of the valve transceivers. The communication link between the auxiliary communication device and the communication transceiver or the valve transceiver can be an RF communication link such as Bluetooth, a close field communication link such as an inductive communication link, or an optical communication link.

  • Patent number: 11942232
Abstract: An x-ray scanning system, and corresponding method, includes an x-ray source that produces incident x-ray radiation having end-point x-ray energy, which, in various embodiments, can be greater than about 200 keV, between about 200 keV and about 500 keV, or greater than about 500 keV. The system also includes a disk chopper wheel that can be irradiated by and attenuate the incident x-ray radiation. The disk chopper wheel further defines one or more slits configured to pass the incident x-ray radiation through the disk chopper wheel for scanning a target. In some embodiments, the high end-point x-ray energies with disk chopper wheels are facilitated by forming the incident x-ray radiation as a collimated fan beam and/or orienting the chopper wheel with a wheel plane substantially non-perpendicular to a fan beam plane, increasing effective thickness of a disk chopper wheel to attenuate incident x-rays of higher energies.

  • Patent number: 11935528
Abstract: Systems, devices and methods for delivering audible alerts are described. In one aspect, an event for generating an audible alert for a user is detected. In response to detection of the event for generating the audible alert, it is determined whether an authorized audible interface device is within a threshold distance of the user based on a location of the user and a location of one or more authorized audible interface devices. In response to determining that an audible interface device is within the threshold distance of the user, alert instructions for the audible interface device are generated. The alert instructions cause the audible interface device to generate the audible alert in accordance with alert data provided in the alert instructions. The alert instructions are sent to the audible interface device over a wireless network via a communication module.
